Well we have a cold :( Libby is worse then me poor thing, so snuffly, she was up 4 times last night :bored: full of snot, and struggling to sleep. I'm gonna get a sucky thing today I reckon try to help her breathing.

:cheer: Yay bogie machine for the win :cheer:

Sucks that you both have a cold though. We had a pretty bad one a week or so ago and it wasn't nice. Try the vaporub stuff on her too... there's one called Snuffle Babe you can get which is milder I think... that made Ryan feel better.

Awww Em, hope Libby feels better soon and you of course

How have you lasted this long without the sucker/bogey machine?

Sams has been on the go for the last 6 months, he's actually onto his second ...we call it the snot sucker :rotfl:

Hugs to you

Hi again, why does everything happen at the same time  Libby woke frm her nap, was sick over herself, and the postman rang the door bell
I've never really needed a snot sucker before, she's always just been a bit nuffly not really bunged up, but she's very mucusy with this cold, and I think I'll def get some of that snuffle babe stuff too L, poor little thing her face is glistening, her eyes are constantly streaming, her nose is running, and she's dribbling with her teeth, she has a very shiny face a result :rotfl:
Well, Libby has a VTech walker which my dad bought her for Xmas, he came up on Friday with my stepmum, and they wanted her to have it early as they won't see us again until after chrimbo now....she absolutely loves it! So if any of you are struggling for ideas, I reckon its fab, the front comes off so she plays with that now, and then it clips back onto the walker so she can use that when she's doing walking practise :D
Well, she now bum shuffles, she moved about a metre at my moms on Sunday, and on Friday she commando crawled about a metre to get a toy too  she's only done that once since then, so not a proper crawler it would appear, but once she realises she's actually moving, I think she'll be off
Hope everyone is well, I'll take some pics of the house later this week and post them, need to get some pics on the wall first as it still feels a bit bare :?

Hi all, great news about the nights sleep L, it makes such a difference!!!

Em, sorry to hear about the snot, we have a sucker but have never used it!

I have been looking everywhere for a body warmer recently and was getting very peed off that the only ones I could find were pink, but I finally found one in next for £9 it is red and I love it!!

I was thinking of gettting the tech walker for thomas for christmas, let us know how you get on!!

It is typical :)

The walker sounds great, isn't it exciting finding christmas toys for them.

B & T are having flat screen tv with dvd players for christmas from my grandparents so they are getting Sam his new car seat and this...

http://www.mothercare.com/gp/product/B0 ... 1&mcb=core

As it is on offer with buy one get second half price...we are using the half price to get tis for Sam so that he can use it in the spring :D ...
http://www.mothercare.com/gp/product/B0 ... 1&mcb=core

Well done Libby with the crawling...Sam gets in the stance but just doesn't seem to want to move

Finally managed tpo get his urine specimen sorted and to the hospital today...only took me 24 hours :shakehead:
They gave me a bag to try and use ...impossible! In the end I use a piece of cotton wool, popped it in his nappy and used the syringe they gave me to squeeze the wee out of the cotton wool....innovative eh?

Well pleased with myself :rotfl:

M, Sam has a body warmer from Asda in biscuity beige, it mstches with his big brothers which is more or less the same colour from Next. They look very cool together

Good work with the wee sample, makes me remember holding a 4 day old Libby over a peepot for 8 hours....never felt so much relief when she finally wee'd and the pressure was off :rotfl: They wouldn't let us put anything in her nappy or anything, just had to hold her naked bum over a peepot.... :rotfl:

Glad you found a body warmer M....loving the Teej pics, I just had a quick lookie at them, he is such a hunk isn't he! I think he's gorgeous, I tried to show Libby but she's not in a good mood today so wouldn't sit still for long enough.

KK I love that truck & trailer, Sammy is gonna absolutely love playing on that!! What car seat are you going for? I really like the look of the Britax Evolva 123, but not sure if it'll go in our car yet, so really need to get that checked.

I'm getting Libby weighed in the morning, she was 17b 0.5oz when I last got her checked on 19/09 so about 6 weeks ago, so get guessing chickies :D

That's exactly the one that I've been looking at!

A on the other hand likes the Maxi cosi, the bigger version of what we have now

19lb 5oz is my guess :D

I just think the Britax looks super cosy, I like the maxi cosi's too....but found the Britax one in girly lilac for £79.99 in Kiddicare too :D and C has given me a license to PINK and I think lilac is close enough to pink, I want a really girly car seat for her, so she better not be a tomboy...... :D

Just e mailed my mum with the details of the five in one thing!!! Thomas is going to have it for christmas too, I am such a thief!!

Hi girls

I've not been on for ages! What happened to the forum the other night? I wasn't around.

Austin's doing so well, he's such a monkey now. I think he understands 'no' now but chooses to completely ignore it  he always looks at me when I tell him off, giggles & just carries on doing exactly what he wants! He's climbing everything now, and when Daddy gets home from work he crawls over & climbs up his trousers which OH is really chuffed about.

We got toothy peg number 7 on Monday  I didn't even realise he was teething again until Sunday when he went all quiet & cuddly, then the tooth was there on Monday morning. He looks all grown up with a mouth full of teeth!

I had him weighed yesterday, he was 17lb 2oz 3 weeks ago, any guesses for the new weight?

Nic - I can't believe you went to see Santa so early! I'm looking forward to taking Austin, I can't wait to see his face!

Cloud - I give Austin bread, toast, rice cakes, rusks, fruit & veg (mainly pear which he loves & carrot sticks) as finger foods, although we're doing BLW so he feeds himself most of him meals. Organix do some really nice mini rice cakes in different flavours, they're usually in the baby food aisle. Austin likes the apple ones.

Em - I think 18lb 10oz for Libby, she might not have put on as much if she's been more mobile. Well done to Libby for crawling/bottom shuffling! It starts off slowly but before you know it she'll be moving really quickly!

KK - very ingenious with the wee sample, I hope Sam's okay.

 and  to everyone else, I know I've missed a few posts but I have to go cook dinner in a minute so haven't got time to read anymore for the time being.

I'll try to get on a bit more over the next few days.

Hellooooo every one  Hope you are all well, and your LO's too :D

Just a quick post, we havnt been upto much lately as Jake has had the GE bug :( Ive just been changing nappy after nappy, but poor him, hes got a really sore bum. He doesnt seem bothered by it in any other way which is good. The doctor said it could take 3 weeks to recover :x

Im trying to stay in the house as much as possible at the moment due to Jakes tummy but we have just been out to get OH some birthday cards for tomorrow. I went into a shop called Ethel Austin, has anyone been there? Its really good and well cheap too  I always thought it was an old ladies clothes shop because of the name so Just walked right past it LOL Ive bought Jake some 6-9 month vests as his 3-6 month are getting tight already

When I was writing OH's birthday cards out I put a pen in Jakes hand and put the card next to the nib of the pen and he actuall moved the pen and scribbled all over it like he knew thats what it was for!! Im well proud, nearly cried

Im racking my brains trying to come up with a reason good enough to justify buying a new buggy Ive seen :wall: Jakes buggy is really babyish (yes, i know he IS a baby) and this one is £30 down from £80 !! Its quite boyish iykwim. But my OH just wouldnt understand :(

Im in the middle of sorting out going back to work, figuring out which office im going back to, applying to reduce my hours from 37 to 30 which would ean a 4 day week- the pertect comprimise between time and money  nursary places etc, etc... Because of this Im looking to put Jake into his room soonish so we are not causing upheaval (sp) in his life all at once when I return. We are getting THIS bedroom suite from OH's parents for xmas but they will let us have it a bit earlier :cheer:

Catch up with you all soon- when Im not up to my eyeballs in dirty nappies :rotfl:

hugs to everyone

I feel awful for saying it but Ryan's been a terror today and got to the point whre he was just really irritating me. I know it's not his fault but that doesn't make him any less annoying sometimes.

He slept through Monday night as I wrote, slept most of the day yesterday, and been angry all day today. Had a bit of a scare last night - he was cold all over (including torso) and wouldn't wake up.... which was really worrying. I could feel him moving and breathing but he wouldn't actually wake up. Then with him being all irritable today and having a cold temperature on the thermometer, I took him to the doctors.

Now I have to get a pee sample for tomorrow morning and take him and the pee in if he has a bad night tonight.

:(

Was meant to visit Adele in hospital as she just had her little girl Paige, but with Ryan having a potential virus and being a moaning minnie (mickey?!) all day and appointment at 5, we weren't able to :(

Tomorrow is voting day, as well as a appointment at 925 if Ryan has a bad night, meeting my boss at midday for lunch and to discuss returning to work (I'll try and hold my tongue lol), and then maybe pop to see Adele in the afternoon or evening.

So yeah, pretty annoying day. I was in such a bad mood the woman in halifax started to talk about improving my account or something and did I want to make an appointment to see if I could get a better deal and I just turned round and told her I couldn't be bothered to listen to what they had to say as they'd only try and make me take out some crap credit card anyway and I had better things to do with my time. Then I drove the pram into a display table they had and before anything fell off I just legged itout of there.. I was so embarrased I just wanted to cry. So I went to Woolworths and bought some Ferrero Rochers and then everything was better again.

I also managed to bid on some lingerie the other day on ebay (brand new from a shop), and I won it today and realised I had bought the wrong size and it was the only one they had so I couldn't ask them to swap the size... so now I'm expecting some nice lingerie in 36b that I can't fit and will have to relist.

:wall:

It's just not my day... lol

:wall:

Hello to all xx

Helllllooooooo
Well, the winner is..........................................................................................................................................................Maybebaby! Closest guess anyway, as Princess Libster weighs 18lbs 5oz....i thought she weighed 19lb, well she did on our digital scales at home, but she's not that close to moving into a new car seat according to HV. Does that mean I actually weigh less than my scales say too

Libby & Dylan have had a play date today which was great fun for them, when they weren't trying to pull each others hair!!

Nat - I hope Jake is feeling better soon hun, poorly baby, get well hugs from me & Libs  I love Ethel Austin, I thought same as you before, but my mom dragged me in, and ever since I've thought it was great. I got some great wellies in there for Libby, and so cheap I bought a pair in every size :rotfl:

MB - I can't believe Austin has 7 teeth!! That is very good going, how cute that he crawls to his daddy and clmbs his leg, I think C will collapse with pride when libby does that :) I wasn't on when someone messed the forum up, but it would seem some sicko haccked the forum and posted a pic of a dead baby

JM - Glad you found a dentist, hope you find a job too  bless Jayde watching Cbeebies, I was discussing this today with Cloud, Libby doesn't watch any kids TV, she watches Jeremy Kyle & This Morning with me, as well as countdown & deal or no deal. I think I should let her watch programmes more appropriate for her age.

NK - Bless Keeley visiting santa.......I can't believe Santa is out and about already!!

Trix - How's millie getting on with the weaning?

KK - How's Sam today?

JW - Hope you & O are well, any more news on the house, is everything going ok with it?

V - Where you at hun? Feel like we haven't caught up for ages

M - How are you & Teej? You been working today?

Cloud - How's the fish breath cowboy? (Dylan had fish for lunch, and got smelly breath, and got it all over his trousers, so borrowed a pair from Libby, the only non-girly ones I could find were beige cowboy trousers  )

L - How are you & Ryan today?

Hugs to everyone else
