Has anyone got one of these? They vary in price so much I’m confused. Thanks

Check if you can rent them from your hospital. I did last time for £20 or similar. It was not expensive anyway. You can rent them at 38 weeks I think and give back after birth, all as lump sum x

Thanks. Should have said I’m having a home birth so a hospital rental isn’t an option for me. Thank you though x

Are you sure? That shouldn't matter. I was given mine to take away home and start using once labour begins, then bring them back with me to hospital for birth. I think you should give them a call x

I’m sure as I’m not going into hospital at all xx

I posted about this a few days ago. Mothercare rent them out about £20-£30 ish? Was looking into it for a homebirth too Xx

They crop up on Facebook market place all the time for cheap. Have a look there for a lower cost second hand one
Seems a shame to pay much for something you

I got an Elle one on amazon for around £50. I’d be inclined to suggest buying rather than renting esp if you’re planning more children, but aside from that they’re helpful for general back pain etc so handy to have x

Was looking at this recently, mothercare hire them out for 28 quid for 5 weeks and then you get a free week of you haven't had baby yet. Think it's pretty good TBH. :)

I've rented one from Birth Ease, it's cost £21.50 and they send it out to you when your 36 weeks then you have to return it 3 weeks after your due date. It includes the return postage too.

I have done this too, came two days ago and tested it on my arm this morning, very weird sensation ha. Birthease have been great so far for me. Really informative on all the packaging, quick delivery etc x

I bought mine online second hand pretty cheap and just bought new pads. I had my baby in March and will never use a tens again. The pads stuck to everything, especially the paper on hospital beds, wires are always in the way, I accidentally pulled them off a few times, hubby couldn't massage my back without making pain worse because of pads and I don't think it actually helped anyway.
I know some women swear by them but it definitely wasn't for me.
The gas however was amazing, I used it from 8cm and it made the rest of labour a breeze!
I don't rate them for labour but hubby loves it for general back ache lol x
