E bay do som e good ones- brand new and used. If you search for pregnancy tens machines they have loads. Some have never been used and others used only once- so basically the same as when you rent one.
I'm selling a Boots maternity TENS if you're interested. It doesn't have the pads (chucked these for hygiene obviously) but has everything else - they only cost £5.90 to replace.
I bought mine off ebay second hand, it's actually off a website originally (might be blooming marvelous not sure )and was meant to be £40, i got mine for £20, it had brand new pads on it as the lady had replaced them for use when having her second child and things hadnt gone to plan, it's as new, and works well.
I think it worked out as cheaper then renting one, and it comes with good instructions on how to use it for all sorts of muscle pain not just maternity.
Not sure if i've made it clear but i'm very "chuffed" with my purchase
