tens machine

hi everyone,
just wondering what is the difference between maternity tens machines and ordinary tens machine as they tend to be cheaper.Can you not use ordinary tens machines while you are in labour?

Don't know the difference but I'm not going to risk going for a cheaper one this time! I used the maternity one from Boots that I hired for about £29.99 I think. It really helped and I only needed gas and air right at the end, I'd be worried if I went for a cheaper one it wouldn't be as effective
