Taking your baby on holiday!

I bought a pair of babybanz sunglasses the other day off eBay :). Did you get the chair thing from tesco tiny??

No, I'm going to order some bits from asda online later so I'm hoping they've got one too. We're going to visit friends this weekend so it'll be really useful :yay: are the baby bandz any good? My friends LO won't wear them

I've heard alot of good things and they are 100% protection so I thought I would get them! Not cheap though, it's mad!

I'm gonna sit down with a pen and paper later and write down EVERYTHING I need to take!

I was thinking the same, I might post a comprehensive guide to taking your baby on holiday  It'll take me another month to gather all the info!! Just as well we're not going til september

:) fab! I wonder wether I should get one? The restaurant will have highchairs though and when we are out she will be in her buggy. Hmmm......

we go to a lot of cafes when we're in spain, and its handy to have anyway, when we pop round friends house and end up staying for lunch, for £11 its okay, and it just folds small in your nappy bag

Airport control will let ya take 4 made up bottles for LO but u have to be prepaired to taste em, my mum asked for me yesterday cos she went to tenerife :) and were off in 5wks,
The mam bottles are fab if uv got a microwave 3mins in there n boom they r done! Im just plannin on fillin the sink up with boilin water to clean her bowl n fork instead of sterilisin it,
Im not sure about certain countries but if its advised not to drink the tap water, i got this info of my HV & the web:
*bottled water with a sodium level (NA is sodium's chemical symbol) of less than 200mg per litre and a fluoride level of less than 1.5mg per litre. Volvic, Evian and Font Vella waters all fulfil these two criteria.*

Hope this helps :)
X

thats brilliant thanks :yay:

I just realised I need to get LO a passport, I cant believe I didnt even consider that!!!

Thanks Amy, that's fab! Think
I would have to get rob to do the tasting though, yuk! The smell of formula makes me feel sick!

Lol @ tiny!!!! We got Emilys passport through on Saturday so that's one thing of my mind! :)

Firstly TASTE the milk??? That is disgusting I feel sick.
Secondly, hahaha tiny that amused me, and you're usually the organised one!!!!

Might be handy, yeah :lolly:

I'm so glad I know that, I'm not taking A abroad until he's off the formula now, I'd be suspected as a terrorist or something cos there's no way I'm putting that in my mouth! I don't even like normal milk never mind that rank stuff omg I'm having a nervous breakdown! Thank god for trains!... They don't make you do stuff like that on trains?????!

I very much doubt it! I hate normal milk too!! god knows how people can just drink it!!!!!

With the milk, my LO will be over 1 so he could have normal cows milk. Would they have that on the plane?! Im thinking a few cartons of follow on milk would be easier. Just incase their milk is just those little cartons you get for tea and coffee, can you imagine, Id have to give LO about 50

Im so not organised at the min, everything fallen apart, I think Ive got too much on my mind!! Ive put passport on the to do list though
