Donna my cycles range from 24 to 29 days. Right now they're mainly 28 days but if I ovulate early obviously my cycle shortens. Lots of people manage to conceive with short cycles, it's your luteal phase that's the main thing. With a 24 day cycle you'll hopefully ovulate between day 10 and 13 to give you an 11 to 14 day LP which is absolutely fine. I'd start monitoring when you're ovulating so you have a heads up for ttc. Hopefully it's just a one off though!

Lil, you must feel so gutted when he goes away again. I've read your post in relationships and I don't have a lot of advice. It must be hard for him feeling a loyalty to his mum but she should be encouraging him to have a life of his own as when she sadly passes she won't want him to have no one. I think you should really tell him how it's impacting on you now and say his lack of looking into social care is really going to cause a problem between you. There's a solution there and he doesn't seem willing to take it. I really hope you find an answer!

Hayley, I'm so sorry if that is AF arriving being late is such a torture! Have they said anything about trying a medicated IUI with you? Is going private something you would be able to look into? I hope you're okay xxx

Thank you, yes I think you're right. I wasn't going to track ovulation for a while, but I think it's a good idea just so I know where I stand if nothing else.

You don't need to let it become a big thing, just maybe download an app like ovia and track your ovulation for a few months so you have an idea it's between say days 10 and 13. That way when the time comes to trying you don't need to have the pressure of tracking ovulation because you know roughly when it happens. As long as you're DTD every 2 days around then you'll be covered xx

hi I am mega confused will be testing in the morning I thought I was due on Monday but I think I was due af on sunday so today I still haven't started and I am 34 days like clock work and I am peeing loads and normally I struggle to pee in public and can go all day but just now I'm about every hour or sooner and keep thinking I have started but it is very moist and looks like how my cervical mucus goes at ovulation time and I am suffereing from indigestion and was quite upset today

I never look for symptoms so this is confusing me as I am also very constipated too

do you think I should test in the morning

Leah,we have referral for IVF, 2 free attempts with NHS. Can take 6-9 months but Geraint had to lose weight fast before referral.
I've got another 3 cycles and another apt on 16th march
Adding zinc, iron and selenium to my Metz as well as epo 3000mg. Ordered preseed too x

Back to spotting, turned brown now - she's definitely getting ready to show. I don't think it'll be full flow until tomorrow or maybe Thursday though.

Well ladies, I think this is it, I think I want to stop ttc, I can't put myself through it emotionally not while trying to cope with my OH living 260 miles away. I'm an emotional wreck. I wish you all the best of luck with your ttc journeys, I will still pop on here to see how you're all doing and hoping that you all eventually get your BFP's. I am still no af and bought another test today so will do it tomorrow morning with fmu if af isn't here but was just wondering can you ov twice in same cycle 2/3 weeks apart as it looks like I'm ovulating again as I have stretchy cm its frustrating me because I should be finished my af by now this cycle as it was due sunday and lasts 4 days normal and then the last day just spotting

has anyone ever had this where they just had clear stretchy cm discharge and no af

Aww gawd bless you hun, I feel so sad about giving up ttc I've been tearful all day, zero sleep again, it's killing me. We won't be using any contraception but not actively trying on the correct days etc. Also I think I rarely ovulate as my 21 day bloods were really bad result. My OH won't be here for this February fertile days. I'm just not feeling healthy enough to be able to get pregnant and stay pregnant. I'm constantly stressed out, can't sleep and get really low days. I can't see my OH ever moving here unless his mum passes away. He won't ever ring social care, he's too scared to do it. x

Selfishly I'm sorry to see you go, but from what I've seen on your other thread and your last post in here it sounds like you're making the right decision. You need to put yourself first and look after yourself, TTC can consume us and when you're stressed to the hilt anyway that isn't going to help.

Take some time to just look after yourself (and children) and start feeling more healthy both physically and mentally and you may feel like you can come back. *hugs*

I wonder if it could be a good sign, let us know how your test goes in the morning.

If not have you had sex recently, if you are ovulating again maybe you will catch this one.

I am 23 years old
i had unprotected intercourse right on the day of my ovulation
I had a slight pain while intercourse but
Since 1dpo i am having mild cramps and tingling and lower abdomen
Pain gets better on changing sides
Period like symptoms
Too many noises from stomach of gas
Pressure in lower stomach and near belly button
Distended abdomen/swelling
Today is 4dpo.
Please advise if i could be preg or not as i dont have these symptoms normally and when should i test

4dpo is way too early for you to be getting pregnancy symptoms and you wouldn't feel pain from having sex for conceiving either as the sperm and egg don't meet during the activity.

You're better of waiting until around 14 dpo to test to be sure. I would recommend going to the doctors about your pains though as it doesn't sound normal.

All was fine at my 9 week scan. They said it everything is ok at my 10 week one I should go on to have a healthy pregnancy, saw the baby having a good wriggle round at my scan to, was so happy I cried on the way home. Still get very panicked and anxious though which is why they're scanning me every Friday lol xx
