Hi ladies,

It's been a while since I've been on. How are you all? I see it's very quiet on here. It looks like most people have come and gone, only the long timers left. What a hard cruel journey!

We're on month 20 and last Monday had our first appointment with a private fertility company. Only had bloods and a yuck chat, we have our consultant appointment on the 21st. Feeling all sorts of emotions at the moment! Until then I'm 1dpo and keeping everything crossed our last natural attempt works!

That's a strong positive Hayley !, fingers crossed this is your month. My OH is popping down tomorrow as my opk looks nearly there. I've been quite ill last couple of weeks so I'm not that hopeful. xx

Hayley it's not quite positive, I don't know what to do, OH doesn't know whether to come this evening or tomorrow evening ?, it looks like my strong positive might be tomorrow, think I usually ovulate day after positive opk. I'm in a pickle. xx

Well 2pm got my strong positive, my OH is in one of his depressive moods so I don't think he is even coming. Next attempt won't be until 7th January. Absolutely gutted, I might just give up completely as it's never gonna happen. Even if it did the situation living 260 miles apart is just ridiculous. xx

Lillith, make sure your oh comes over. Talk to him, get him in a better mood and encourage him to come over. X

I wish Ashleigh, no such luck. I'm so sorry to read you've had another loss, how cruel is life. I hope you're as okay as can be!

Lil, I was going to say they recommend dtd before ovulation. Did your oh come? Your situation isn't ideal which is such a shame is there no chance of him moving closer?

Hayley, glad you got such a good line, I hope it's your month. We kinda done smep, cd7, 9, 12, 13, 14 and will tonight day 16. After this long I'm doubtful much will work but worth a last go!

Mrs S, he is a full-time carer for his mum so unless he gets carers in full-time which I have suggested but would never push him into it, there isn't much else we can do except me uproot and move to him but it means taking my 3 kids out of school and leaving friends and family. I have way more ties here than he does there. xx

I certainly did Charlotte, I'm shattered. We've not seen each other for a month so he was rampant. He managed 3 times with maybe half hour in-between, I'm worried that might kill the sperm from the first ejaculation though ?, surely going back in there will squash them ?. It's sounds silly but I'm already thinking because of that it won't happen this month.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Charlotte, a lot of ladies have zero symptoms leading up to their bfp. When will you be testing. ?. xx

Lillith, so glad you had sex 3 times last night. No you can't squash sperm. Best swimmers get inside withing minutes. Slower ones withing 10 min. You had 30 min in between the pleasure. So its fine.

Same sex couples inject sperm with some sort of syringe and sperm gets inside happy and unharmed.

Well I'm not sure when to test. I'm either 10 dpo or 8 dpo. So since I have no symptoms don't feel like I want to test yet x

See I've read so many conflicting things, I read that sperm isn't even mobile for half hour until it liquefies, as soon as it comes out it solidifies. This seems to be true as OH has done it in a cup for me to syringe in before and you have to wait 20 mins for it to liquify. Then I've read other things saying it can take sperm 5 mins to swim up there ?. It's all very confusing. I just got a feeling we buggered up this chance, should of left it at just the once and stayed legs up for an hour. We will see.

I got a really decent line 11dpo on a frer hun, fingers crossed no symptoms are a good thing xx
