I am going to try and hold out til a week today when I should be about 12 or 13dpo. Last time around I had a few chemicals as well as the later miscarriage so I try not to test too early (am likely to change my mind though!!) Xxx

Emma - I had EWCM this morning (either 5dpo or 6dpo today) - don't remember ever having it in the 2ww before - was worried that it meant I hadn't ovulated yet!) Xxx

Not until the 4th Jan. Could even be 5th Jan.

I've just tested today and had a BFN result. Gutted. I really thought something would show with all the weirdness my body has been going through. I'm starting to think it's all in my head now.

Possibly too early still hun so don't feel disheartened. With my pregnancy that stuck it didn't show a line til 11dpo xxx

I have discharge now and again, but this was huge. Another sign that something may be happening. Although most things I have read are saying that EWCM is a sign of ovulation when you are the most fertile and not early pregnancy as I had thought. So i'm not sure now. It's all so confusing.

That's what's confusing me - I don't know whether to dtd tonight in case I'm having a weirdly long cycle this month!!! Xxx

Maybe something will show in a few days Emma, I do question we the in imagining the symptoms sometimes .

Naomi my husband and I just BD all the way through the month so that there is more opportunity for it to work, it covers all eventualities that way.

I might do my next test Monday morning before work if it's a BFP it will brighten the week up and I should be 11 DPO then.

It's so difficult to not POAS every day with all the symptoms attacking x

We are finding it harder to find the energy to bd this time around - running after our 20 month old and work etc takes it out of us! So we are just doing the every other day cd8-16. If we aren't successful this cycle we might dtd on cd18 too plus I might go back to opks and using soft cups xx

I'm avoiding testing Monday because if it's negative I will be really upset for my first day back at work!

Aww I can understand the running after a toddler as we have a 22 month old I work in radiology so I'm supposed to tell them as soon as I know for safety reasons.

I've heard of soft cups before ... What are they? How do they work? X

Emma and Naomi EWCM is a sign of an estrogen surge which a sign of Ovulation but also Pregnancy. ..fingers crossed hunny

Well we only DTD the day of Ovulation this cycle so my chances are very low but you never know!!!

Good luck with the house move MrsB the 2ww is stressful enough without having to move house

I use softcups they are a menstrual cup but you can use them to keep sperm up by the cervix after DTD

MrsB I got a bfp using soft cups and conceive plus last time. They look a bit freaky but not too bad once you're used to them. Xxx

I am totally with you on symptom spotting my body is such a pain at creating symptoms! I don't have any at 6DPO, but have had odd abdominal twinges/cramps.

Het Niomi I used Concive plus this cycle for the first time with the Softcup , after 20 months ttc I'm trying anything and everything lol

MrsB hope it us a distraction, I know Christmas has been a good distraction for me as it's all I think about normally, but the last few weeks I've chilled out about ttc and concentrated on the festivitys

Will keep everything crossed that it does the trick for you Clover. I used it first time around after I'd been trying for a bit over a year. Caught second cycle using it - unfortunately lost that baby but then caught again first month using it again after that. If I don't catch this month will definitely be using the two of them again! Xxx

It's a lubricant that is sperm friendly and helps them moving around better - good especially if you don't get much ewcm xxx
