Official TTC (tracking everything under the sun) for 6 cycles, 7 if AF ever shows up. NTNP since May 2014, more like just NP because we've wanted to get pregnant all along. We were going with the "let nature happen" approach for two years. It's been too long, desperation is starting to set in. I bought one of those OvuSense gadgets so I'm planning to give that a try in cycle 7. Having a new toy to play with puts clomid in the back of my mind, honestly. I just need to feel like I'm doing something to help the process along.

I do ovulate, but it's very inconsistent. Anywhere from CD16 - CD24 and my LP goes from 12-15 days (currently 18 days). It's just frustrating to have issues when I'm 31 and OH is 35, we shouldn't be taking 2+ years to get pregnant. I know there's ladies who've been trying even longer so I don't mean to whine, just wish it would happen already.

And no I haven't had blood testing done, plan to ask my GP about it when we get back from Aruba on the 20th of this month, going away for OH's birthday. I think blood work is about all my healthcare would do for fertility testing.

Yea Charlotte, it's always when you're not "trying" that it happens, right? At the rate my body is going I'll likely be dealing with AF though. I suppose OH and I will just have to have some fun in the ocean--and beware of sharks. lol

Just saying this is the first pregnancy very had with no symptoms before I got a bfp, and it was originally twins, just goes to show how different it can be. Xx

I need your advice. So im CD10 today, but I've had ewcm since CD6 on my last day of clomid.
My opks had light pink lines on them until yesterday but now their non existent.
I have been cramping CD9 evening and lots yesterday and this morning too.Today feeling tender.
Do you think I may have ovulated ? Even though I didn't get a positive opk ?

Peanut, how are you feeling my lovely ?

Hayley, cd10 its a bit early for ovulation? Keep testing with opk?

I read some stuff about sperm. Hope numbers are higher than they think.

Basically 250 million sperm get ejaculated inside. Only a few thousand get through the cervix.

Then only a few thousand get through uterus and then only a hundred get to the correct tube.

Once they reach the tube. Only the right size can get in. If the head is too big or they move too fast they can't. So only 5 get in.

Then once they are in they attach themselves to the walls of the tube waiting for the golden egg.

When egg appears they need to detach themselves and swim to it. Only one enters the egg.

Interesting but I hope these numbers are multiplied by 100 ha ha. x

Have you girls ever watched 'The great sperm race' on channel 4? It was on a long time ago but I found it online, I never realised how hard it was for that poor sperm to get that egg! lol xx

Though of course I've caught up with what's been going on. It was actually quite nice to have a bit of a break. 6 weeks where I could properly concentrate on work rather than get distracted googling everything under the sun! lol

I've watched the sperm race too. Very enlightening program! Before watching it I didn't know only a handful of spermies make it to the egg! When they show conception in films they usually always portray it as though there are hundreds around that egg, so until I saw the documentary I always assumed that's how it was...

That cake though CCW! Eww, it MIGHT be delicious, but it certainly doesn't make me wanna try it!
