Swapping formula

My lo is 8 days old & has been ok on SMA gold first infant milk but he hasn't poo'd since Weds morning & I've heard it has no fibre in it. Apparently Aptamil does?

My question is if I change him to Aptamil is this a big deal? Can I just swap it over or do I need to introduce it slowly?....if that's even possible!

SMA made my LO very constipated.

Hes now on c&g which he was on before sma (long story swapping milks)

But yes h can jus swap str8 over. I did this and with hours he pooed!
Some ppl like to introduce the milk with a few bottles a day. But u can also just swap it over.
All the othet milks have fibre, its SMA that has more iron and less fibre that causes this constipation xx

No experience with SMA, but I switched my LO from C&G to Aptamil, finally settling on HiPP Organic, which was right for us.

I've changed to aptamil today & within hours he had a big poo! Feel relieved.....bet he does too! He has been going 2/3 days without a poo so this has done the trick! x
