Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has experience of this? I was diagnosed on my last scan (10 weeks) as having a subchronic fluid sac above the baby. The sonographer played it down but wouldn't exactly say the pregnancy looked well - just kept saying wait and see...highly disturbing.

I've started spotting again tonight/fluidy blood - it's not heavy and only when I wipe but looking for advice/success stories etc. It seems many docs prescribe bedrest but I'm not seeing the consultant for another two weeks. Just worried sick. Heard the heartbeat briefly on the doppler early which is something.

Thanks

I had a haematoma during my pregnancy and bled from about 5 weeks till 11 weeks. From 5 weeks I was scanned every 2 weeks until I was confident enough to stop going. I was very lucky with my consultant that he would like me keep coming back for peace of mind. I stopped being scanned at around 17 weeks.
My lo is now 2!
Try not to read too much on google and get as much rest as possible. I wasn't put on bedrest but just made sure I got plenty of rest and tried to relax as much as possible.

I wish you all the best.

Thank you so much for the reply. I went back yesterday and they said it had 'maybe' gone because they couldn't see it but wasn't convinced. The sonographer seemed pretty clueless in every way but baby had grown and all seemed well. I'm still having brown discharge/tissue and pain so just trying to take it easy.

Thanks X
