Still waking twice in the night!

It's a massive misconception that babies should sleep all night. Only 16% of 9 month olds sleep through! Keep feeding on demand and let her decide when she's ready to sleep the night

My lo is 16 months and still wakes once or twice.....it's a nightmare! I've got no advise but it can't last forever...can it?

Sort of a thread hijack, but last night was my best night in over 2 months:

7 milk feed
9 woke but wanted just a cuddle to go to sleep
2 milk feed
5 milk feed
7 milk feed

This is amazing progress, I just wanted somewhere relevant to cheer about it!!

In answer to the original question, I think my parents started swapping water for milk in the middle of the nights to encourage baby not waking for feeding.
