Lol.

Ooops.

Was at an antenatal class today and the midwife gave me a stern talking to and said baby could come at any time now and I need to sort the bag straight away. That and get my car seat. Haha

I have managed to go to chiquitos and cut the grass today though

haha, how about just write a list....

then when you go into labour you can just pack it before going to hospital! mines not fully packed and wont be til the time is here

xxxx

De Nile is not just a river in Egypt it seems..... Hahaha

I have added to the pile now. I just seem to be incapable of putting it in a bag

TOrino you have a pile?? I'm not yet there with a pile...its still all in vairous bags etc

I also dont have car seat..but i am picking that up tomorrow...also don't have pram either!!

Hospital bag is numero uno priority when I finish work tomorrow. Oh, behind a haircut, mowing the lawn, washing and sorting all the new baby stuff I had from the baby shower, watching TV, eating chocolate, going out for lunch.....

I have made progress, we have a bag ready for things to be put in and clothes have been washed.

Still don't have a pram or car seat though.

Enjoy your last day helly :)

I never packed my hospital bag until I was 39 weeks + 2 days! But honest to God, if you leave it until you're in labour, and your labour is as quick as mine, then you won't have a hope in hell of getting it packed.

xx

oh no way could i leave it that close! I did put it off for many weeks - started piling things together at 34 wks, but then took til 37 or 38 wks to force myself to actually go through it (i had written a list in the meantime of what i wanted in there, based on the many lists i had seen online).

felt sooooo much better when i had finally put stuff in the actual bag, along with the refreshed list of what had to be put in there on the day (e.g. my deodarant, phone charger etc).

This wk (im now 39 + 5) I double checked the bag and ended up realising i forgot to sort out my own leaving hospital clothes lol so added going home stuff in a separate mini bag and now feel a lot more relieved as it really can happen at any time, and i would never want to go into hospital without all that stuff (e.g my camera!!! food! stuff baby needs) and then have to rely on other people going and getting them at some point coz no one ever gets what we want, especially if its the bloke who is in charge of trying to find those things lol

I told hubby last night that he was packing it :)

I said if I buy all the stuff we need your packing it lol :)

xxx

It makes good sense for him to pack it. Friends of ours had a major row when she was in labour cos he didn't know what pockets had what stuff in them and spent ages finding the baby wipes lol

With dd I was gonna do a bag when I finished work but never got chance as she came at 36 weeks I didn't have nappies or anything lol

i wouldnt worry too much hun, i'm being induced on monday and i keep re-packing mine and taking stuff out then thinking about it and putting it back in! lol i;m sure u'll do it before u pop

Naughty girl! get it done. haha says the one who hasnt finished hers:oooo:

I was the same hunni i only packed mine the week before i had Jaiden and then only did it cos dh was bugging me bout it x

i sound quite stupid now saying this as mine is packed lol, but get it done when u can, labour starts off very slow but you need it incase of any emergency's so best be safe ladies get to wrok or get you OH to work and laugh at them doing it. x
