Spotting at CD16

So I have PCOS over the last year my periods have varied between 29-36 days! The most recent being 32 days. So last night CD 16 I had slight spotting when I wiped. It was pink/red tinged mucus. I have never had bleeding in between periods. What could this be??

I've had this a few times the last few months and I've put it down to ovulation bleeding from what I've read. After having that I've ovulated within a day or two! I wouldn't worry too much xxx

Yep could be ovulation bleeding but PCOS itself can cause spotting too because of the hormones - I know I've had a lot of spotting from it in the past. If it continues, try maca root capsules as they've really helped me xx
