Sore throat?

    Anyone else had this oh reckons it's cos I am run down and anaemic after the delievery!

    I dont wanna get sick :-(

    Are you taking vitimins and iron? It would be such a shame if you did; lots of fruit and veg and sleep if you can (IF!). There seems to be a lot of lurgie going around, im reluctant to leave the house....

    I have iron tablets from hospital as hb is only 8.5

    I was also v. low in iron, so pop as many as you can. Also, bit of advice with a bit TMI, but as your prob know it can make you constipated, not what you need down there when youre already tender. So maybe take some senna, or natural lax, lots of prunes :)

    I had a very sore throat for a cpl of days after delivery but im sure its down to all the screaming..

    Mine dropped to about 6 when they discharged me, my mum got me iron tonic from boots. It's little packets of liquid you put in fruit juice, I was taking 3 or 4 a day in orange juice to help increase levels, so much better than horrid tablets and they only cost about £3 for pack of 30
