So what have you left to do?

Ah MrsH  You take care getting home and hope you don't need to use that shovel!

DONE! 10 loads at the laundrette - service wash. OMFG!
Do all the laundry (including 4 sets of sheets!) Hubby has taken them to a launderette as we have no dryer and he knows that I would go mental watching clothes hang everywhere...bless hiM!

DONE!
Buy presents - not bought any apart from 2 for my nephews which are winging their way to foreign lands as we speak (not just 2 presents, but 2 nephews)Everything bought

DONE! Buy card and present for hubby pending!

DONE! Buy presents for the dogs , and dog treats pending

DONE! Buy dog food OOPS!

DONE! Buy fruit and veg - have some but not NEARLY enough waiting til tomorrow to get it as fresh as...

Do the booze-run DONE!

DONE! Tidy the house after this cup of coffee

Hoover, clean the floors (wood), polish and prep the house for visitors as above...

(will do that after my next cup of coffee)

I am wetting myself laughing though.. Husband was smug as anything as he arrived back from buying ME presents before I got back with his. He was SO smug and SO chuffed with himself -as he sat in the kitchen with his holly and ivy to make the fresh wreath for the door - until I said "I got a great card for you this year" and his face  He's forgotten my card! :rotfl: :rotfl: See, I don't care about presents, but I DO care about cards. He knows this. Last year, he even managed to get me one, on time, sent from Iraq where he was on tour. With a present...

He has just ran away screaming at himself with his car, to get me a card. And yet he calls me the "scatty" one

See? I get it done - eventually :yay: And the mulled wine is a-mulling...mmmmmm

(walks off singing the Christmas tunes that are on the Sonos..."I wish it could be Christmas ...every daaayyyyyy")

Sounds like everyone is getting it together eh? :yay:  at the little one getting juice on his jimjams!

We have now finished - every room has lovely, clean, sweet-smelling sheets and duvets on, and all guest beds are dressed.

Husband is having a cigarette in the only room in the house that he's permitted to smoke in (especially as I have quit. I am going to smugly add here that it is very nearly a month - on Sunday - and I haven't even tried to think about having a ciggie in that time. I've put on a stone but I haven't had a fag! :D ) and we are about to commence the "I like to cook with wine, I sometimes even put it in the food" Christmas of Dinners

Ladies - I am SO glad I joined this forum - you're all lovely and I can't wait to start the TTC journey on here and , hopefully, if there is any karma out there, share a baby journey with you all.

As well as the odd few bottles of virtual plonk!

To one and all , a very, very Happy Christmas, wherever you are

I've just run the vac round and sided all the toys in preparation for all the new ones in the morning. I wanted to peel the veg tonight but I've been bollocked by the OH.....I woke up and literally screamed out in pain. I think I might have overdone things recently and I'm getting stabbing pains in my side which are definitely muscular. So I'm banished to watch soaps with my feet up and he's doing the veg now. He's cooking tomorrow too....I feel a right lazy bitch!
