Symptom spotting!

So, if my CD19 opk was indeed positive (fat chance), I'd be about 11dpo now...I think?

On CD31 today and all I have is hot flushes and some nausea. And no, I didn't drink loads over Christmas!

I BDed all over it though.

I had a dark opk on Christmas Eve too and Christmas Day's was v. faint so could that have been it? No of course not...looking at it now, it doesn't look dark enough.

I was told on another forum that someone had similar looking opks when they weren't ovulating so that's been playing on my mind a bit as well, but not allowing it to get in the way!

Anyways, feel free to slap me.

Will get a pic of my opks once I have done my 5 o'clock one.

Thanks hun but really not holding out much hope...Still praying like mad that we've been granted our wish but I think the confusion with the opks isn't helping things. The entire point of doing them was to pinpoint my AF but I've had a few dark opks so it's done bugger all to help.

As much as we all do opks and other thing to help us ttc and keep an eye on our cycles, im a strong believer in if its going to happen it will happen when the times right

I just had a nosey at your OPKs and they are crazy... and maybe not helping pin point OV but they all contribute to you progressing towards baby even if it means taking them to your doctor to show him.

CD28 looks equally dark to CD19.

You need to be on the look out for OV symptoms, not pregnancy symptoms, but they can be similar - stomach pains/cramps, sore boobies, mood swings etc

Agh, I know, all over the place eh? I don't really understand why they seem to go up and down so much, thought it was a simple thing - using an opk! Wouldn't that be a bloody welcome luxury - for it to be simple?!

Well now that you mention it, I had a hissy fit at OH last night because he came in from work and took over the cooking! Now normally I'd welcome the help and indulge myself in putting my feet up and letting him look after me but for some reason last night I resented the help and was seething about being booted out of the kitchen! LOL.

Backache seems a bit worse and spots have appeared but not really thinking much of it to be honest.



Oh and just a mention, but my ovulation tests seem to be darker when I leave my pee for about 20 mins before dunking...Anyone else get this??

I remember when I was convinced I was OV-ing; I had these funny twinges and back pains and all sorts. I was umming and aaahing over whether it was OV, as thinking about it, I think I also thought I may have OV'd at CD19 of my cycle!

Then I got p1ssed off with them, wanted to throw them out the window and didn't test for about 10 days! Then, I remember MaybeBaby testing and getting a positive and I thought "sh1t I wished I carried on" - did an OPK the next day and bam! Big fat dark line and smiley on CBD - I had no OV symptoms at all, until about 2 days after the first positive OPK when my cervix felt very sensitive when we were BD-ing, everything felt crampy and sore; that's when I think the egg popped.

I think everyone's symptoms for OV & PG are different; I read a post a little while ago (can't remember whose it was actually) but it was like "Symptoms that don't mean anything" and it's true because for some people they mean eff all, but for other they really do.

I say, keep testing for OV MissJ; I guarantee you will know when you get that dark line x

Well I think we might have screwed up.

Yesterday I had some serious twingey mild crampy feelings going on, backache and I got my first lot of ewcm!! Yesterday's OPK was lighter than the previous dark one (don't know if you've seen it Jen, in the TTC bit somewhere LOL) and we didn't BD. Or the night before or the night before that. Now I'm panicking because I'm thinking we've missed it!

Was SO effed off with it all I could have cried.

I'm just *praying* my positive OPK is still yet to come. x x

Ewcm normally comes a few days before ov hunny and your surge on the opk means ov can be upto 36 hours away. Can you not get any bding in this morning/today? x x

If my OPK today is lighter then I'm going to seriously panic. Feck, feck, feck, FECCCCCK!

I know there's next cycle (if we truely haven't missed this one) and if only I were on regular periods, I'd be totally fine with it but I'm not! My periods seem to arrive every two months so I have to wait even longer for ovulation.

*Keeps praying that I haven't ovulated yet*

Lol girls! Won't be able to steal a moment in the loo, we're at a NYE party with all my family and the chances of us being able to sneak off are teeny. Will try for when we get home but I doubt it will be before the early hours of the morning. Panicking like mad.

Oh and to top it off, yesterday morning I had the most amazing and realistic dream that I'd had a baby (a girl, just like I suspect I will have for baby number 1!) and she was the most beautiful baby I'd seen, all wrapped up in a pink blanket and snoozing away in my arms. I didn't want to wake up, I wanted to see more of her!

Makes me well up thinking of it, I'm so hoping it's like a premonition of my first baby!
