Ok you can get the straigt jackets if you like.

went to GP 2 1/2 weeks ago and mentioned stinging around girlie bits she said normal especially due to warm weather and to use sudocream. Also that i was stcuk with it until the birth (just great)

This morning it was really really really bad so i braved having a look myself. it was red raw in the fold of skin betwee the torso and leg so made appointment to see MW. She got other GP in who took one look at went that's thrush.

Oh thank god it means it can be treated! I am so happy cos the pain was gettin unendurable.

So now you can understand my excitment!

Sandi

LOL fair enough! Thrush is awful if left untreated so i'm glad you'll finally have it gone soon.

When i went to see the doctor about thrush he wouldnt take a look or anything just said if thats what i thought it was i was probably right and sent me away with a prescription!!

Me too! I was quite surprised he took my word for it alone. Thankfully it was as the cream made it disappear in less than two days! :)

Poor you Sandy, I didn't know it could get that bad *crosses legs*

you poor thing :(

least you can get it treated

i used to get thrush all the time before i was pregnant! ive only had it once this year! i hope it stays that way after the birth!

I've got it too- thrush buddies

It is horrible, I was going mad and then I had results from an urine sample they sent off which showed I had thrush, I got cream on Tuesday and now it's much more comfortable.

The pessary and cream are the best. Gets working the same day! Thrush is my arch enemy!

I hope it clears for you quickly Sandi

excuse me while i snigger...

you use the term 'treatable' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I know most people can have it treated easily, but i've been plagued with it since i conceived, and have just picked up a pessary today to try and clear it up before the birth. I mean i have had it, with no let up in symptoms since Sept '07  :rotfl:

Hopefully you get it sorted hun. my case is not ususal, as i have always been prone to it when AF was on the way, and now it is just one of those things i live with. but hoping not to pass it on to my baby in labour.

A useful tip is to wash your pants in a little tea tree oil

or natural yoghurt to apply to affected area.

Good luck

hi girls..i think i might have thrush now lol. never had it before and don't know how it feels like. but does it make u itch on ur folds between lady bits and thighs and could extend a bit further downwards towards the bum area??

yeah itching is one of the main symptoms, get it checked (trust me leaving it is not good).

Sandi

ok, my head is totally nodding.......... i know how you feel... ive had terrible itching since weekend and its driving me absolutly berserk....

its just on insides of them lady flaps! and when you itch its painful but Oooohhhhhh Bliss!!!!

im off to the docs tomoz, (if i can get in) and demand treatment!!!

Hope he dosnt wanna have a look tho!!!!!! i aint trimmed yet!!!!! :rotfl:

PS: i read somehwere that if you wear liners coz you leak a little (i do) then DONT wear the scented ones!! ( i made that mistake)
