Hi ladies, just found out today that I'm expecting baby #3. I'm thrilled and shocked. My youngest just turned one a couple of weeks ago and I'm worried about how I'm going to cope with such a small age gap. There is 4.5 years between LO1 and LO2. I'm also worried about health consequences for me? (I've been googling, bad idea I know). Any advice would be fantastic. Hope all your pregnancies are going well. Xx

Hi love, eek I remember you from June 2016 board! I cant give advice but just wanted to say huge congratulations to you:-) Alot of people say it's easier with a smaller age gap as you get all the baby/nappy/napping stage over and done with in one go. Plus they'll be best friends growing up:-)
Wishing you a H&H 9 months xxx

Hi baby maker! Awww thank you so much. I'm a natural worrier so this is typical of me. How is everything with you?

I'm in the same boat. My LO will be 17 months when she becomes a big sister...terrified for what is to come but very excited. I also have a 6 year old x

oh wow! we are in almost identical circumstances. when is your LO due? its great to know there is someone out there going through the same.:)

Hello love87 and babymaker :) congratulations hun, the small age gap hasn't been too bad for me. I have a 5year old in 2 weeks, a 2.5 year old and Alfie at 13 months, there is 19months between the youngest two. I struggle more with my older 2 fighting.

So lovely to see everyone on here, I have started lurking as possibly had a whoopsie last week about 3-4 days before ov and I'm absolutely petrified! Had a slight issue with a condom so definitely not planned and Alfie was a danger poke! I would be thrilled to have another but not sure hubby would share by views on it! xx

Congratulations everyone!!

I have a 4..5 and 6 year old with number 4 due in Feb so this time I will have a 5year gap. People say I'm crazy but I really enjoyed my 3 being so little at the same time. I found the first few weeks after having my youngest quite difficult.. I had running around after 2 nailed and found adding a new born into the mix quite difficult.. after the first month it got easier. I did miss sleep though! I love how they've grown together they're the best of friends most of the time although they do tend to bicker over silly things as little ones do.

Xx

I'm well thank you. Cant believe our little ones are 1 already! Ruby's such a little sweetheart and we've had a great year:)
I'm lurking on the board again as we're thinking of TTC our 3rd (and final!) possibly later this year or spring next year. But like you, I'm terrified of a small age gap so I'm trying to do lots of research whether it's a crazy idea and wait till Spring, or just go for it in October/Nov.

Kanga!!! Sooo great to hear from you again. I will be stalking you re your whoopsie;-) When are you POAS??

xx

I can't talk so I would say just go for it oct/Nov time ;) I'm not sure when to poas as don't want to become too obsessed as thinking it's highly unlikely that we caught. AF is due 3rd July so may test then if no show.

Was at the hospital today and been diagnosed with labyrinthitis (inner ear infection causing vertigo) and they asked if I could be pregnant and hubby was extremely adamant he doesn't want anymore and wants the snip :( I haven't told him that the whoopsie could have been near over so he isn't worrying about it as I know he would freak out xx

Baby maker - I know. The year flew. We are the same. This is our 3rd and final baby. I have no advice about small age gaps I'm going into this one blind.

Kanga - I'm going to stalk you for the outcome of your whoopsy. I won't ever have a whoopsy after this baby is born as DH is getting the snip.

Thanks for your replies everyone. I feel a lot better now (and nauseous) xx

Haha I don't want dh to get the snip as I would love another but hubby is dead against it. If af arrives I will actually go on some birth control and try and convince dh into ttc in a few years. I thought I would feel my family was complete with 3 little ones and it is tough but I think just one more would be nice.

Glad you're feeling better and yay for nausea as awful as it makes you feel, it is reassuring xx

Haha hey Nat :) I'm not feeling hopeful anymore but so glad I came to lurk on pf again and see so many names I recognise. Tmi but our whoopsie didn't result in too much leakage but enough for some spermies to possibly find there way in! I was cd11 and ov on cd14/15! Wow dtd on cd7, must have been a really short cycle! How does your oh feel about it? xx

It's been a bit of a shock for us both but we're getting our heads round it now.

Lovely to see your name pop up. Always makes me smile to see some of the oldies.

I had 3 very close in age. There is 17 months between DD1 and DD2 and 19 months between DD2 and DS2. My eldest was a month off turning 3 when my youngest was born. It was busy, but was lovely having them all at home with me for 2 years before my eldest went to school and they are all so close. As for health implications - was was quite lucky all my labours were very straight forward and the only thing I struggled with in my 3rd pregnancy for aneamia. I'm now pregnant with my 4th - 6 years after my youngest was born. You will manage just fine.

Hello, I`am in the same boat too, I've just found out i`am that i`am four weeks pregnant, My son will be 17 months old by the time this baby is born, Excited & a little scared all at the same X
