shortening menstrual cycle

hi all

i've not been on in a while as being taking a break from ttc.

i was wondering do any of you know what could be causing my cycles to get shorter. i gave up the pill almost 2yrs ago and fell into a lovely 28 day cycle, but the past 5 months have changed. it has gone down to 27 days, then 24 and the last was 17 days!! i'm slightly confused.

i;m 31 and praying its not early menopause as i don't have kids yet.

can anyone reassure me?

Hey sorry im not going to be much help but my cycles sre like this lately have been 28 , 26, 27,and 24 days and they always use to be regular and now im at a loss as to where on earth i am each month

It could be your luteal phase is shortening, or you are ovulating earlier. The only way of knowing for sure is charting when you ovulate, or a vist to your gp to find out.

As far as the menopuase goes that would usually mean your cycles getting longer so I dont think its that

I think this is my case and im OV'ing earlier on in my cycle i think im going to be ov'ing soon
