shaving

i had been sporting the "au natrale" look for a while now, until hubby looked at me the other day and said "holy shit, go get me my strimmer".

SO I now have spray on veet arriving in the shopping today! i reckon i should be able to just spray it on, leave it for 5 then rinse it off with the shower? wont need to reach down there at all. Well that is my theory anyway. I shall try it later and let you all know!

The spray on/wash off effort sounds like a good idea - I will wait for your review Lynds! Failing that I will be getting hubby to do my gardening as i am struggling to reach now! He is self employed and some of his work is strimming, grass cutting, hedge trimming and general garden maintenance so it shouldn't be too challenging as my lady garden will just be on a smaller scale!!!!

So, how effective is veet? My lady garden hasn't had some attention for quite some time now and it desperately needs it!! I usually shave but I don't want to end up with loads of cuts!! Is it as easy as it sounds?? x

It did but I had to use the little plastic scraper thingy ... It doesn't gone off of its own accord ... Dunno if it will be easier second time when there is less of a Forrest to deal with

Plus there is only one option with it .. Lob it all of ... So it's nekkid

Does the veet have a horrendous smell thats hard to get rid of like the stuff for legs? Assuming it's a little more gentle than the stuff for legs?

OMFG I look like a badly plucked chicken........... maybe I didnt leave it on long enough.

I sat a mirror on the toilet, put one foot on the side of the bath and sprayed. Bad idea. You have no choice but to spray the whole thing, the top of your thights, stomach etc etc. I also didnt think about the stuff getting inside, but it did. And ouch.

so left it on for 5 mins, scraped a bit away but no hair came with it. Sprayed a bit more on and then tried again at 8mins and it all started coming away. I found a bit of tissue was just as effective as the spatula at taking the hair off. As i was really kinda stinging inside by now i jamp in the shower and rinsed the rest away .

it isnt smooth all over, I have a landing strip of stubble. Maybe cause that bit doesnt usually come off its courser? dunno.

Also if you are going to use it stand on a towel. A lot of mine slid off and landed on the floor. Thankfully its wood so not to bothered about that.

I think next time I will try applying it with my hand to just up the sides and along the top and see how i go. And use my bikini trimmer to shorten the length in the middle. Not much chance of cutting myself with that.

I would DEFO NOT want to go into labour looking like this anyway!

I blindly shave mine.... Going more for the trimmed look rather than bold really ...
Close to due date I will just use a trimmer as my gynecologist advised me to stay away from any waxing or shaving close to dd as apparently it hurts like hell of you have stitches and new hair grows back down there...
Also told me that mw and doctors couldn't care less really how it looks as long as you are clean down there...

Lynds the instructions do state ... for bikini line spray onto hand and apply to area

I tried to just do the sides, and still managed to lobb the whole lot off

I did it in standing in an empty bath and slid everywhere too ... forgot about that!
