So do most women shave/trim? I would hate to think I have been walking about with an untidy garden...oh the shame

I shave the lot off, can't stand hair on ma bits.

I think its much more common now than in the past for women to shave the lot off, used to be more the reserve of the fetishists!

I sometimes do, but tend to worry that Drs etc. will jump to conclusions about my morality so I tend to let it grow back in situations like this!

I do use a ladies bikini hair trimmer to tidy it all up though!

to do the 'main' bit I've got a brilliant shavor, by Remington called 'bikini trim&shape'. I've had it a couple of years now and got it in Boots.

I've got one of these too, it's fab. I'm just using well positioned mirrors to trim. But I have got very lazy and am only shaving when there's a chance someone might see... OH doesn't seem too bothered! :rotfl:

Great thread - exactly the kind of thing you don't normally talk about over a cuppa, but really useful!

I have always used ready waxed strips for my bikini line, which does hurt but only for a moment. The razor sounds a bit less traumatic though - how often do you have to do it? The reason I've stuck with wax for so long is because you don't get stubble - and that's what's put me off razors up until now :?

i cant stand having any hair or stubble there- but its not like ur legs where u can leave it for days and still feels smooth- needs 2 be done every day! i'd love 2 wax but i cant bear letting it grow enough for the wax to get a hold of it!
yes it itches when u first do it but not once u get used to it ive been doing it for years
my tips if anyones thinking of doing it are:
use conditioner (instead of shaving foam)
use a triple-blade razor and once u used it 3 times there get a fresh one (the old one will be fine on ur legs for at least another week, but might cause a nasty rash on ur bits)
put plenty of moisturiser on afterwards

Hehe, well I never...I am going to put that eye brow trimmer to good use now... :rotfl:

I usually either leave a little strip  or just shave it all off, depending on how Im feeling.

At the minute Id be happy with either of those options but I just cant do it properly. I thought Id at least be able to reach til my bump is a bit bigger but I cant see anything!

I had a go yesterday as this thread reminded me things were getting out of control!

I'm not sure I did a very good job of it though! :rotfl:

Hi, I'm trespassing too but I just wanted to add my twopence worth :)

I shave all of mine off

I shave it all off, its becoming a bit of a nightmare at the moment, even my leg hair seems to be growing back at rapid rate. Im having to shave everyday now to keep smooth!

I'm so glad to see this thread!

I was just thinking about what I will do for the birth.

I normally shave most of it off leaving just a small triangle a the top, but was worried that the doctor might think I'm some sort of porn star

But then again... I have heard that if there is too much hair the docs will shave it off anyway... i suppose i'd be saving them a job!

What are all the other girl that normally shave doing for the labour?

I'm glad you've brought this up too! I normally have mine neatly waxed but do they actually shave anything off for the birth? In which case I'd rather have a beautician do it properly!! Not that you know when it's going to happen exactly!

I also don't know if it' my imagination but everything seems to be growing a lot more at the moment anyway! (Sorry if TMI) I feel like a yeti!
