Pointless post!
So last week one of my best friends tells me his gf is preg with their 2nd. Also he asks me and hubby to be godparents to their first. We say yes but explain our situation and how we are trying to lie low for a while - it was weird actually talking to people about it since we haven't done that before! Anyway it was hard hearing all about their pregnancy but my friend was very understanding. I think its very very difficult though for someone with kids who has never lost any to ever understand the pain firstly of losing babies and secondly of the possibility you may not have any.
So then the next day my hubby tells me one of his friends (I sort of know him) who got married the day after us last year is also expecting........great.
And then, like that's not enough, another friend announces several times (internet, text email etc) that she is also pregnant, and she is amazed at 'how fast everything happened'. Great!
That's about 8 (seriously) announcements in the last month or so.
By that point I felt a little meeved and hurt, and had a bad sunday night feeling very sorry for myself. I'm over it now. Honest..... My reasoning is that we only have about 3 more couple friends left to announce their pregnancies, so we are just assuming that EVERYONE else is pregnant, then it wont be a shock.
I'm hiding in the house forever until I am either pregnant or have declared myself infertile. Apart from on my holidays, though
