I was on here throughout my 1st pregnancy so thought I'd introduce myself to you girls and join in.

I found out on sat and did more tests today all positive, sooo question is when to go to docs? I would like to be booked in at hosp as early as can as have a holiday at 11 weeks for 3 weeks. Our most of you leaving it a couple of weeks? X

I'm at doctors tomorrow for an emergency appointment I'm 6weeks 2 days. Think it's hyperemesis again so I'm guessing I'm having my 3rd girl haha

I was going to phone them this week, going by my previous pregnancy the MW will usually see you for a booking in appointment around 6 weeks, so you could tell them about your holiday then I suppose?

I rang my doc at 4.5 weeks. I don't see a mw til wk 8 but you have to ring early in my area otherwise they book up! Xxx

MW called today. I've got my booking in appointment on 16th Feb. They do them at 9 weeks here! And scan will be between 12-14 weeks.
I'm only 5+3 but wanted to get in the system because as naomi says they book up!!

That's funny you say that I'm convinced mines a boy! I had HG during my last two pregnancies which were both girls and although I've got nausea and on stemetil it is nothing like it was, think I may actually enjoy this pregnancy. Really feel for you HG is utterly terrible and nobody understands unless they've been through it x

I self referred to my local midwives after a week or so, as I work at the hospital anyway but had to go to GP a week later as my fluid retention flared right up and standard care plan with midwives didn't cover my pending referral to Recurrent Miscarriage Clinic, which I had been waiting to do blood tests for, so GP referred to EPAU for early scan and thankfully we seem to have a happy little thing settling in.

I have consultant led care so would have hosp app more than mw at the docs. I am at a new docs than with prev pregnancies so not sure wether to leave a urine sample in first or just make a docs appointment to get the ball rolling or when to do it lol!

I went to GP at 4.5 weeks but I wanted to try and get them to refer me for an early scan. I'm with one to one midwifes so had my booking in at 6 weeks and seeing her approx every 3 weeks x

What is one to one midwives FP? Do you have to pay for that? Xx
