I'm the same with wanting the morning sickness! Every time I feel slightly nauseas (it hasn't happened much though) I feel quite relieved!! I'm sure if/when we get sickness though we will regret saying that!

Congrats on getting your bfp :-)

Hi everyone
If everything goes to plan I'm a 13th September due date. Second child and have been suffering badly this last week although today I feel semi- human. Still got the same worries I can with my first but what will be will be. For those who are have nausea., I can highly recommend the mamma sea bands which you can buy on Amazon or tesco pharmacy. ( might be in other places). They definitely take the edge off the sickness forme within an instance. I wore them my entire pregnancy last time.

Hi! I used those last time too and found them fab! Xxx

I nearly cried when the midwife asked me to remove them whe I was in labour ! Lol

Lol!! How old is your first child now? My daughter will be close to two and a half by the time this baby arrives - wondering what she will make of it all! Xxx

My son will be 3 when its born. I'm just struggling with a sickness bug from last week at the minute which is really concerning me as I can't seem to shake it off. Sickness I can cope with the other stuff I can't !

Ah similar age gap then :-) and oh no about the bug! :-( are you sure it's a bug and not morning sickness? Hope you're better soon!

My only symptoms so far are sore boobs, waking up at 5am - because I can't stay awake at night! I'm only up now as I've got marking I've left all weekend and I had a nap this afternoon!

Role on half term! ... Then only 4.5 weeks til the Easter holidays!

Congrats Tina! BFP at 6 weeks! You are very patient! Xx

I said that and man do I regret it! Lol

Sorry to the ladies with the runs! I've got the opposite I feel so blocked up! I used to get the runs before a period every month so even if it's not pregnancy related directly it's definitely hormone related xxx

I've not had the runs but I was going about 5 times a day when usually I only go 3 times a week .... However I haven't been for a couple of days so think that end is back to normal, sorry for tmi. I have had though an occasional itch just above my pelvic bone, not sure if it's going to start stretching soon x

Hi ladies. Can i join you all? I'm 4 weeks pregnant and have the same EDD (25 September) as my 15month old son but he ended up arriving in October.

Congratulations to everyone!

So ladies what are you all doing different now that you have found out your preganant and what supplements are you taking?

I'm taking the pregnancare vitamins with folic acid omega 3 etc.... Try to avoid sugar, Trying to keep stress free , go swimming, this one will sound crazy but I'm trying not to cross my legs, apparently it's not good as your blood can't flow! Xxxx

Not heard of the crossing legs one. I think my biggest change has been caffeine! Tea and Diet Coke mainly x

Went to the doctors this morning because the sickness is so hideous and totally debilitating. Also needed a sick note for work to be off this week. I had an appointment with the oldest male doctor in the surgery and wasn't expecting him to be hugely sympathetic. Turns out you should never judge a book by its cover; he was SO lovely. He got out the ultrasound machine and scanned me, I thought I was 6+6 and it measured as 6+5 so pretty close! Saw a little heartbeat flickering and he said it all looked healthy etc.
He also prescribed me anti-sickness antihistamines?! Never knew there was such a thing and he told me not to even think twice about taking them as they were totally safe and would make me feel better in a few days. So relieved! He's signed me off for the next few weeks and said as soon as I'm ready to go back to work to call them and they'll give me a fit for work certificate and I can go back. Thank god lovely doctors!

That little grey blur at the top between the crosses is the baby apparently. Crazy!

I've cut out coffee and tea completely, plus limiting fizzy drinks. Have started taking the pregnancy with omega 3. Also trying not to cross my legs as heard about that in last pregnancy!
Have also started trying to sleep on my left side more.

Has anyone got a kind of funny stitch like feeling in their side? I've had it a couple of times and it's come back today - not painful but kind of feels like I've got a ball or something in my side that gives a kind of pressure type feeling? No idea what it is and hoping it's nothing bad!

Aw lovely Scan pic! And how nice of a doctor to do that!!! Glad all was okay :-) xxx

Wow gorgeous scan pic! Hope your sickness clears up now as much as possible.
I've stopped caffeine, loooove coffee so that's hard. Increased drinking water. Just avoiding food thats not recommended. Got a thing for runny eggs though... Had twice before I knew I was pg... Upset about no eggs n soldiers! Haha xx

What a lovely doc! I'm cutting down on coffee, now just have one in the morning and a decaf in the afternoon. Also more fruit, veg and water! I went swimming this morning too xxx
