scary!!

just wondering if braxton hicks can be painful???
woke up at 3 this morning 4 my usual loo trip!! got bk into bed then about ten mins later i had really intense pains they lasted bout half an hour! i honestly thought that i mite b going into labour!!!!!!!!!! luckily they faded has any one else had these type of pains??????????????

I did have strong pains in my back and stomach at 32 weeks with my first baby. So strong I had to get up and DH had to rub my back for me. I had them for a 2/3 hours.

2 weeks later my waters broke!!

Braxton hicks should never be painful, they might get strong but never painful.

Take things easy today and mention it to your midwife.

When I got BH they were more intense than painful. I'd give the MW a quick call if they are painful!

ive got an appointment with my consultant 2moro because of my reacuring water infections so im gonna mention it to him!!!
