Roll Call 2011 - post all your updates!

Hi Girls!
I've been officially ttc for a year now - does that make me ltttc? I know there are loads of people who have been waiting much longer....
I had a mc last october, which gave me a bit of hope that I could conceive - but I've had nothing since :(

I've had my bloods done, which said Im ovulating, but since then my temps and opk's have been erratic, and my OH has had sperm analysis which came back as ok.

I'm currently waiting for a specialist appt, but I've been told the waiting list is 6 months, so I'm getting really despondent with it all and feel like giving up! I'm starting to think that at 34 (35 later this year) that it'll never happen for me.

Hi ladies, well today is CD1 of cycle 12 I am going back to my dr this week, so will update once I've had the appointment, good luck to you all x

I think a year sounds like plenty enough time

Did your bloods includes your FSH levels? They are taken cd 3-5.

6 months to see a specialist?! Ouch :(

Have you thought about seeing a private consultant just to get the ball rolling - you don't have to do everything privately after that.

Hi Louise! No, the doc didn't do fsh which I was surprised about considering my age? I am starting to think about a private appt but not sure if we can afford it, we started our own business recently and things are still a bit tight. I've looked online and the price seems to be around £300 for an initial consult!

Bead - clexane if administered slowly into a pulled up lump of skin and definetly not rubbed afterwards shouldn't bruise x

I'm undergoing bloods in June x 1st set tomorrow eeeeeek!!

I'm not sure what category i fit into but i'm here :) i will know more after my appointment tomorrow i guess :)

Hi, I know I'm fairly new on this forum but since I'm here to say, just thought I'd let you know where I am. Currently on cycle 3 of Clomids :)

I will update on Thu after my scan appointment - hopefully will have some kind of positive outlook on things or a next appt date...

I've now started my 3rd cycle of Femora, the docs increased my dose so hopefully I get more follicles this month for the IUI in July.
If this one doesn't work I'll be starting IVF :(

Been diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism x and possible pcos!
Going for internal uss on Friday results will take about 2wks apparently?! X

Hi all - hope you're all ok. Just come back back from my pelvic ultrasound. Had the external scan first - having to go with a full bladder. The sonographer was really impressed at how full my bladder was and how composed I was. Trust me, I wasn't composed inside. If my appointment had been running late, I would have definitely wet myself! He couldn't see anything clearly on the external scan, so I had to go for a wee (phew) and he did the internal one as well. Wasn't painful at all and only took a few minutes. My ovaries, etc, looked ok, my womb lining was perfect depth. He spotted two tiny fibroids in my womb but he said they were too small to be a problem and most women had these anyway. When he finished he said everything looked normal and I had nothing to worry about. Just got the HSG to go and that'll be it. I've got to ring the fertility nurse on the first day of my next period and have the scan within 10 days, so this should all be over by the middle of next month. I'm due to ovulate anytime now so hoping to do the business tonight - the sonographer lubricated me so well earlier I don't think I'm going to need any pre-seed later - lol.

Hey drummers's wife - you'll probably get told on Friday if they spot anything on your USS. I doubt you'll have to wait a few weeks. I was non the wiser when the sonographer was pointing out all my bits on the monitor. It just looked a screen full of grey, black and white fuzzy shapes. My ovary looked like a black hole! Good luck for Friday, though. Are you just having the internal, or are you having the external first?

Hey girls, im not sure but I think I may be classed in here now really. Ive been off any form of contraception for 2 years now so been ttc for that long. Although was blisfully unaware of how hard it was till maybe October 2010.

Started using the cbfm and got pregnant but miscarried at nearly 7 weeks. Now cycle has gone completely to pot and I have to go for bloods on Thursday. Should be cd 1 but no idea when that will be. Checking hormones and thyroid etc. Getting me worried to find out results but happy something is being done.

Im sorry if anyone thinks Im in the wrong section but kind of feeling I maybe need a little more advice than in the general ttc. Recognise a good few familiar faces who have been kindly advising me already!

DW - sorry about your results but at least you know what up, i hope your scan goes ok hun. xx:hugs:

Tract0rgirl - nice to see you hun, not seen you around much, so glad all your tests are coming back clear so far. :flower:

Laurat - i felt the same as you, feel like i belong more in this section now, know more girlies in here now than TTC, i hope you get to the bottom of your funny cycles hun. :hugs:

My update is having a hysteroscopy on 19th June to fix NHS mess:mad:.... Grrr trying to practice some relaxation techniques to solve my anger issues about it or else i would be inclined to march into that Dr's office and :strangle: after much encoragment from family i'm not going to let them get away with it though:muaha:

I guess my update now is..... waiting for surgery on 31st August.......and then hopefully TTC again perhaps with a bit of help from doctor clomid (imagine if there was indeed a doctor clomid, he'd be a popular guy).

Nurse - you should deffo complain! I was thinking of doing the same but there's been so many people mess up with me I dunno where to start. The fertility doc this morning seemed to think I should start with the gynae who did my last hysteroscopy and didn't remove the thing that needed removing.

Laura - hope you get results and start getting some answers xx
