Reflux and on gaviscon, still sicking up?

My little boy had bad reflux he was on gaviscon and omeprozole for a long time and we had to wean him at 3vmobths onto baby rice. It's a common thing with boys that the top of their stomach has a flap that doesn't function quite right. Thicker food really helped. It can run I the family my dad had it quite sever too. Be warned when we went I to see the consultant I the hospital about it he said we needed to stay in for a few days for obs. How's his weight?

Caseysmummy, we're ebf so breastmilk is a natural laxative and I'm also chugging water to try and help the constipation.

Eryinera, he's been following his line well. I haven't got him weighed for a month but he's just moved into 6-9 month clothes (he's 18 weeks tommorrow). I'm taking him to clinic on Tuesday for the weigh in and I'm going to fill my hv in on everything then too.

Hiya my daughter was diagnosed with dairy allergy or intolerance at seven weeks old and put on nutramigen formula as she was being very sick they needed to see if it worked straight away. Fortunately it made her so much more comfortable but she then also got diagnosed with reflux so put on ranitidine as the gaviscon just made her constipated. We've not looked bk, now she's crawling her reflux has almost gone, yet. Weaning with the help of dietician but all going well, she's now nine months so I hope they sort it for you quickly xx
