Reclaiming bank charges??

Hi All,

I saw this on GMTV this morning and wondered if anyone has done it successfully?

I have just written to my bank asking for a list of my charges in the past 6 years. I know it will be alot as when i was student i sometimes had 3 30 charges per month!

Has anyone else tried getting these back?

I got £205 back the other day. Theres a 9 page thread on it as Emmylou said above

you know with bank charges? well i go overdrawn sometimes because of a direct debit? thats my fault isnt it? so i couldnt claim that back?
