Hi Ladies
I have recently been diagnosed in the last 3 weeks as having PCOS, as you can imagine I'm currently going through the roller coaster of emotions topped off with medical appointments.
I'm just wondering if anyone can give me some idea of what to expect over the next few weeks/mths. I have already had a HyCoSy and they are not sure if the right tube is blocked, it also has an additional cyst attached to it; so they have booked me in for a laparoscopy where they will use the dye again, remove the extra cyst and do ovarian drilling.
I'm not complaining but everything is happening quickly and was curious why they haven't tried me on any medication yet, and if anyone has experience of the laparoscopy and ovarian drilling what to expect post op. It should happen within 6-8 weeks but still waiting a date.
Thanks in advance
