Right lets see if I can update this without crying!! Basically I saw the main consultant today. Everyone one else has been his under people! He asked me about my cycles - told him everything. He said everything I have felt is normal so not to worry.

Then the bombshell

I have to do my last cycle of 50mg if that doesn't work then he's giving me 3 more cycles on 100mg and then that's it! I'm not entitled to any further treatment on the nhs! No scans nothing! So he said hell have to refer me and then it's pay for it yourself time! I'm not even entitled to one free ivf!!

At the minute I'm absolutely heartbroken - mum had to finish work early to come sort me out as OH is at a meeting. Just an not believe that that's it!!

Now I have to go teach other peoples children how to swim - devastated x

But you still have 4 cycles left with the Clomid, one last cycle then onto 100mg which will hopefully bring that BFP!

How about writing to your pct? I had a quick google of harrogate pct and I couldn't find anything specific like guidelines but there was plenty stuff about lack of funding in the area. I'm astonished.

It's just ridiculous!! I think he sensed how upset I was!

He did say it was encouraging that my cycle was cut down to 60 days.
