Protein in urine

Hi,

I had a midwife appointment today and when I got home I looked through my notes to see what she had put.

Reading through them I noticed that my blood pressure has gone up and I have protein in my urine.

What does this mean? I've read that they are the symptoms of preeclampsia, but would'nt the midwife have mentioned it if it was serious?

I had protein in my urine earlier on in my pregancy. When she dipped the stick into the sample, it came up as protein in there and I had to do another sample the next morning and it was sent off for tests.

Give her a call if you're worried, odd that she didn't mention anything.
