Is anyone doing this? I heard amniotic fluid will eat straight through a mattress or a car seat and they will be permanently ruined if waters break on them.

I was wondering about sleeping on a towel, or do you think having a pad in would be enough?

It depends cos some ppls waters trickle and some gush lol

I have a mattress protector on just in case!!!

Got it from Argos.

I'll prob get something to go on the bed ( might ask work if i pinch a stay dry)- but i cant imagine spending weeks sitting on incontience pads in the car.

xxx

i got maternity pads in boots! pack of 5.

have 3 on the bed and 2 for the car. they were cheap too. xx

What are they? I take it you dont mean panty pads?

no hun, they are big absorbable sheets with a plastic underlining, they kind of resemble puppy training pads ha ha ha.

they are boots own brand (maternity mats is written on the pack) and they come in a pack of 5. it says on the pack for protecting mattress and furniture in the event of waters breaking. :)
