Ive got a proper crappy week ahead of me this week and am dreading it.
Ive got a consultant appointment of thursday and they want to take bloods off me, which is a major ordeal for me, even local anaesthetic cream doesnt work and my fiance has to pin me down as I hate it soo much and panic, the consultant will also tell me that they will probably want to do a blood glucose curve which will be even worse than having just one needle and I dont think they will be able to get more than 1 lot off me ( they wont put a catheter in my hand or arm), I cant help it but the fear makes me lose the plot.
Then on friday I have to say goodbye to my old arab mare who is the mum of my home bred youngster is going to the great paddock in the sky, she has severe arthritis in her hocks, front fetlock and her knee, she hasnt responded to treatment and her hock is now crumbling and she is very lame and in pain and is miserable. She is on high doeses of pain relief this week so she can a week in the field being a horse and spend time with her son and her companion.
She will be put quietly to sleep in the field with her son and friend by her side so she isnt stressed and I will leave her with them for a bit so they can say goodbye. My future father in law is going to bury her in the corner of their paddock and plant a tree over her.
Not expecting a reply but am really miserable.
