Progesterone pessary

Hi, I started taking progesterone pessarys yesterday 400mg twice a day, I took my first one last night, So Im now on my third!
Im 4+2
And ive had the horrible Poopy cramps today Followed by a couple of trips to the bathroom
Also Im a major lover of baths, I had one earlier, ( Not Hot ) And it made me feel really sick I had to get out!
Do you think this is a side effect? Ta

The progesterone pessaries (or bum bullets as we called them) often gave me that feeling and frequent bathroom trips, esp quite soon after using them which was annoying as I read you weren't supposed to go for one hour after...like you can tell your body these things!!
The bath thing is likely just the hormones making you feel sicky and dizzy, again v normal, I couldn't have baths as they made me feel too sick (I had hyperemesis though) so just sat in the bath with the shower running xx

Mine are going up my Va-jay-jay! The doctor never said anything about the bum!
Ooooo What if ive put them up the wrong hole?
It does say vaginal on the box!
But it would be just my luck that Ive been shoving them up the wrong bit!

I'm pretty sure you can do either. Is it cyclogest? My IVF clinic just said strictly bum! Plus I get thrush and urine infections too easily to use is vaginally xx

Yeah cyclogest, Ill have to phone the doctor on monday and double check haha

If it's called a pessary it goes up your vag, if it's called a suppository it goes in your bum!

Lulla the cyclogest can go up either. I had bad cramping with both, idk if was progesterone, i also had lots of blood with dd and a little bit with this one. Sometimes it can irritate the cervix and cause some spotting. With toilet habbits your digestive system is like crazy atm with both pregnancies ive been getting constipation and the poops with super bad cramping which was told its completly normal x

Thanks peanut! The cramps feel like my AF so ive been freaking out, but If I remember rightly last time they were alot worse, so maybe I should think myself lucky this time.

Yeah, i had really bad cramps, thought was another mc. Just sttetching is say not have sex for a little bit until it stops.

Oooooo you're having a boy this time! AMAZING!!
We had sex a couple of days ago but i really didnt enjoy it haha, I was just so worried, Ive told him no sex until weve had a couple of scans now x

Yeah had an early gender scan
Me and hub didnt have sex until after 20 weeks lol. This time much more laid back but have spd so hurts bad afyerwards so nope xD
