Before I was expecting and I heard this phrase, I always thought it was just an excuse for pregnant women to hide their dopeyness.

I am quite an organised person but just lately I have been forgetting all sorts. And also just not thinking straight, like driving out of my way to the post office, parking up and then realising I didn't need to as I was on my way to do my food shopping and there is a post box there....

Anyone else experiencing this?

Fortunately i'm not sufferig too badly this time around but with my first I was scatty as hell  Many times I went to the supermarket and walked around aimlessly trying to remember wtf I was there for in the first place!

I have terrible baby brain! I can't even remember simple words when I'm talking! Drives me mad x

Ive had terrible baby brain ... mostly revolving around driving and my car

I've now left the windows down three times overnight, and the handbrake off once.

I also drove around the glasgow one way system the wrong way :oooo:

tI don't know if it's baby brain or what, but I cannot concentrate, toddlers probably have better levels of concentration than me atm. I can't watch a full TV programme even. It took me about an hour today to do a couple of admin jobs (which I do for Scouts) which I normally would have done in about 10-15 minutes. It's driving me crazy, I can't even read particularly long posts on here!

Im a baby brain!
I went to the Maternity out patients the other day to double check when my consultant appointment is. The receptionist asked if I would like her to write it on the back of my notes with the other dates of various things, only to be told it was there all along! Doofus! x

I find it to talk some days words just dont come out! Also tried to turned down the washing machine with a remote control the other day

I'm constantly being told I have this and my poor colleagues pick up the pieces of my stupidity at work. It's no myth...I never for a second would have believed being this slow and ditzy would be possible. Xx

I've got terrible baby brain! My memory is absolutely crap + I drive my OH mad! hahaha xx

Other people have been saying I have it. Im normally reasonably switched on and organised, but I've forgotten a few things. I've noticed that sometimes I can't remember the word for something - it usually comes back to me eventually!

I'm nowhere near as bad as I was in 1st Tri - some days it was like thinking through fog. Now it just feels like I have more important things to think about.

My mind keeps wondering I'm really struggling to keep focused it's abit scary sometimes though caught myself going up stairs with a four pint of milk the other day for the life of me I don't know why . I hope it is baby brain and not old age already .lol xx

Haha, I always thought baby brain was myth - not anymore!! I'm terrible with it!!!

Yup, I have it baaad at the moment!! Was thinking of asking work to send me on a course, but with an exam at the end I don't think I will just yet!!!

i have had it bad since tri 1, forgetting stupid words, spelling has gone and there has been a day when i forgot how to spell my own name lol i just hope my brain comes back once ive had lo :)

i had never heard of baby brain until people at work started saying i had it, before i could memorise huge drinks order with all the no ice in one and no lemon in the other etc... now some one can ask for 2 pepsi's and by the time iv walked to the till its gone... even now to the point when i go back over to ask them what they have orderd i have no idea thats what they said lol...!!! i spend half my shift going back to tables to check!!.. simple soultion would be to write them down but i keep loosing/mis placing my pens and pads!! Its so annoying lol! :) worth every minuet of it though in the end im sure! xxx

OH loses his patience with me when we're having a conversation, as by the time he's said his piece, I've forgotten what he said first!
