So I went in friday evening and had a gel put in to starr labour as waters had been gone for a few days. Had the gel around 11:45pm, was having lots of pain and tightnings up until 5:30am saturday morning but they then seemed to die of a bit.
Then they started to come again painful etc around 9am, got examined and was 2-3cm dilated.
At 1ish they put a drip in to start contractions of, they got very painful and intence very quickly.
I coped with just tens machine till around 2:30pm then started on the gas and air.
I felt pissed out my face kept talking sooo much shit to the mw and my oh lol!
Then around 3ish I said how I kept getting the urge in my bum to push and at the peak of each contraction I wud start screaming and yelling tht I cudnt do it anymore and crying to my oh, begging him to help me! Bless him he was so so supportive!
I had a drug called moxytothine I think its called around half 3 its just a lesser version of pethadine but dsnt rly make u drowsy like pethadine does, but takes half hour to kick in.
At 3:35 I'm on the balll bouncing wen I can't help but not push altho they only think I'm 4-5cm, I start pushing around 3:45 and just before 4 (8 mins pushing) she arrived with me on the birthing ball still and mw just about able to get gloves on!! Lol!
She then fed on the boob for a good 2 hours little piggy eh! Hehe
She weighed 7lb 4oz, I went for a bath and my oh got her dressed.
I have cried so much just watching him with her, he's absaloutly besotted with her its the most special thing iv ever watched!
He was amazing through labour and I couldn't of asked for anyone better tbh.
Ibut yeah bar labour being extreaaaamly intence it was fab tht it was so short and I didn't tear or even graze!
I'm sooo in love with her and keep going to sleep but get up jst to stare at her.
Should be home monday morn at the latest.
