ahw that's a lovely birth story and she is a little sweetheart...

brought a tear to my eye as it reminded me exactly of my first daughters birth.. induced, being on the ward, epidural at 5cm, pushing but not feeling any pain etc... you could have been telling my story! (only difference it took 48 hours for the gel to work with me and then they broke my waters - but the rest is more or less exactly what happened with me!)

ahw you did really well.. nice to hear a positive induction story too.. your story is written really well and it's great to get it written down so quick - i didn't find it long too read at all.. you should write off and get your hospital notes when you have time .. well done and congratulations.. she's a little beauty x x x

Oh my god I definitely recommend the epidural!! I don't know how I would've coped without it. I only felt a small amount of tenderness in the area they put the epidural in, but no worse than how a bruise feels. x

That's so reassuring!! When I told my mum and mil I was defo gonna have an epidural with this one when it's the last min they went mental and said I shouldn't coz I have back problems etc and it can paralyse u.. I knownthings can go wrong with it especially if u move.. I couldn't have one with Jaycee as I was shaking uncontrollably and it was too late for me to have one when I wanted it with Ellie and she was back to back so painful.. U do forget the pain but I'll never forget thinking I was gonna die lmao and I promised myself if I had another baby I'd have one! That's gonna be the only thing in my birth plan.. I want an epidural just before it's too late to have one!
