placenta delivery?

My daughter was an emergency delivery so had no idea what happened to the placenta but with Rowan I know I had the injection and I remember seeing the placenta coming out and even having a look at it - have to say I was impressed To be honest other than that I couldn't have given a monkey's uncle as I only had eyes for my little dude.

In your thigh but I barely noticed it as I think they gave it to me as I finished pushing Rowan out.

yep in the thigh - i didnt even feel it, it was the last thing on my mind!

I had the injection.i had always planned to as i had watched a woman with contractions for $5 mins on one of these birthing programs who had done it naturally and i wanted to be with my son. I was told though it is advised anyway if you are induced..not sure why though.

I delivered after 5 mins no pain no contractions just slid out

I had the injection, but I couldn't remember it coming as I was too busy being sick immediately after the birth
