pinky discharge

Hi everyone, not sure if anyone has any pearls of wisdom but all day today I've been getting a pinky discharge (nice). I'm due tomorrow so I gather it could be the thinning of the cervix. It's not the consistency I was expecting 'the show' to be though. It's just like the norml disccharge I've been getting throughout my pregnancy but pinkish. Bump is very low and lots of tightening across tummy but no cpntractions yet...

anytone else have this as a 1st sign...?

When i was induced she told me to keep an eye out for blood streaked discharge, as it could be the start of the cervix thinning.

I'm not sure what it means though, ring and ask your midwife.

I'd say it meant you were very close!

When my membranes ruptured my water was pink! - I wonder if it's amniotic fluid your leaking?

Hope baby makes an appearance very soon!

thanks both, well nothing happened last night, no contraction pains but still am passing this horrid discharge. I hope I don't have to wait too long but judging by everyone elses posts recently I may well have a couple of weeks to go!
