they are getting worse, cant go to the toilet i am in such pain with them, havent been able to poo since Tuesday :( i have started using Ansol (think thats what its called or something like that lol) so hopefully it will go down a bit so i can poo!! grrr bloody things :(

Ouch.....

I'm quite lucky in that I've never had them but my DH gets them a lot and they just seem like they must be so painful.

Hope the Ansol works and you can empty out again soon

you have my sympathies! Watch out with that anusol- i had a really bad allergic reaction to it so be careful :| you can ask your gp for a different brand. Also, 'Linseed Gold' really helps. You can get it from most health food places - sprinkle it on EVERYTHING - seriously, its a miracle cure for constipation. I have suffered with piles before i was pregnant, and now am gritting my teeth, waiting for the worst to come ha ha. xx

OMG I can definitely sympathise with you! They're a pain in a arse ( ) I've had them on and off since about 6 weeks pregnant... Mainly on lol

They are a nightmare but once your bowells start coping with the new found pressure of pregnancy, they do calm down a bit  I think they get worse near the end though, so hopefully you'll get a break from them soon!

I'm a wuss with pain so I keep thinking, well, if I can poo with piles then childbirth must be a breeze!! :D (FAT chance!) xx

Hi, its the not going to the loo and straining to go that causes them in the first place.......you need to take something to make you regular......a full bowel may just prolong them..........Ive been taking fibregel every 2/3 days to keep me more regular.....I find them really good :) hope they ease off soon!.....you have my sympathy :?

Can only advise plenty of fruit/veg & water & fibrous things! Am suffering post-natally myself

I HAD A POO!!!!! :D :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

haha - i had a poo on saturday and i have never felt more happy  i felt soooooo sick all friday and sat and needed a poo soooooooooo much i felt like i needed to run to the loo 24/7,couldnt even sleep friday night it was that bad, well sat went to toilet and forced myself not to move until i had been because my stomach was killing(think it was that full bearing in mind i hadnt been since tuesday!) and i managed to go, but by god was it painful - i had stars in my eyes LOL

anyways been taking Anusol and Senokot and im feeling much better

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have these too, post pregnancy though and they are keeping me awake most of the night. It should be Dan keeping me awake, not piles!

I have tried Anusol cream but to be honest it isn't doing much good so I'm going to try Preparation H after my bath and see if that helps.

Phoning the doc up at 10:00 to ask his advice.

Hope you get some relief soon, they're certainly a pain in the arse aren't they! :(

just make sure you're keeping your fluids up if taking stuff to help with constipation or you'll end up with hard poos and it'll make it worse!
