I have to have physio because of my 3rd degree tear... But I've had a nightmare with the appointments!

Firstly, I received a letter to say that because I didn't turn up to the physio appointment last week I've been discharged. I didn't even receive the first letter so never knew about it! So it was rearranged for today...

...BUT...

...I couldn't find the darn place :wall: So I didn't end up going :(

What is physio for a 3rd degree tear? Is it necessary? Has anyone had it? What does it involve?

xx

I had it, they give you lots of different exercises for your pelvic floor etc, Mine took about 20 mins and they gave me a sheet with all the exercise on incase I forgot them.

I didn't get an appointment but the physio did come round when i was still in hospital and gave me a leaflet about doing your pelvic floor and stuff - don't think you're missing much!!
