Hello everyone who eles had trouble telling their parents i told them the day after i had found out and it was a massive shock to them cos im 23 and for me to tell them i was pregnant was quite scarey for me hehe but they have accpeted and are likeing to become a grandparent now xx:wave:

i was terrified to tell my parents, thought they would be disapointed (not sure why) but they was really happy for me and OH and my mum has been knitting ever since :D

I was scared to tell mine, although this my 4th!! But they was fine about it x

I was scared with my first pregnancy but my mum knew we were trying for this one and I actually did the test in thier house so they were the first to know even before OH lol

With Jacob I was 16, almost 17 when I found out. I was so scared to tell my parents, lol! Told my Mum three weeks after and both my parents were happy :)

This time I'm 18, nearly 19. And I told my mum the day after I found out and after I had told FOB and she was happy too and so was my Dad :)

I was terrified the first time-I was 18 and they weren't happy at all but once she was here they loved her so much and have doted on her ever since x I wasn't scared this time and told my mum at 8 weeks when I had an overwhelming need to tell them (we were planning to wait until the scan) x I live the other side of the country so had to tell my mum over the phone and she was soooooo happy x she can't wait to be a nana again and when we found out Seb's a boy my dad was absolutely made up as it's all girls on my side of the family x x

i was 17 when i told my mum and it was three days after i had tested!
she was really shocked and found it hard to take in for a while but now she loves being a granny haha ;)

so most people where scared so its not just me phew lol well the only thing now is they cant wait till the baby is born x

I was petrified of telling my parents!!! My dad is a church reader and although he doesnt try and impose his beliefs on us kids, I know deep down he would prefer it if we were married before living together. I thought having a baby was going to be a step too far but everything was fine. I still told my mum and told her to tell him. Aparently he said "well now they have to get married" and my mum told him not to be stupid!

Theyre both so excited about becoming grandparents now :) I didnt really need to be worried!

I was bricking it to tell anyone as well. I was only 17 and had only been with OH for two months. I was about 8 weeks gone when i actually got the courage to tell my mum but it was ruined. We were watching Jeremy Kyle and she said 'all of these young ones that just sh*g about and get pregnant, it's ridiculous.' I then hid it from her for another 2 weeks until it was obvious that i was pregnant as i was showing. I then told her 'i'm late' she was like 'for what?'. I just looked at her and her face dropped. I told her i was going for a test the next day. I then TEXT her and told her i was pregnant because i was too scared lol I then stayed at OH's for a further 2 weeks until i could face her again. She was obv disappointed in me because im not stupid and i should have used protection. But i didn't and almost 4 years on no one would change Leoni for the world. xx

my partners parents re over the moon, my mum and my dad support me whatever, but my dad is still adjusting...big time...we r not as close anymore, im still his little girl and i feel like it too :( i feel im growing up too fast :s i live with them................ahhh mannnn what we have to deal with in life

I dont think my parents were expecting it even tho I had been telling them that we were thinking of trying, but my brother and his wife were 12 weeks pregnant when we found out and I was only 6/7 weeks but they were made up even so now they will have 2 grandsons

I was scared with my first, as I was only 16 when I got pregnant. I actually kept it secret until I was over 20 weeks. This time all our family knew we wanted another so I was extremely excited to tell them :D

I was scared of telling my parents and i am 29, married for 4 years and been together with hubby for 12 years, LOL. They where over the moon, but Dad i think is still coming to terms with being a Grandpa, he said he is to young (65 at Christmas, say no more, LOL). He is excited but i think still in shock 6 months later, LOL.

I did not tell my parents until I was 8 months... It was a long and stressful story. Mostly because of financial issues and that my boyfriend (at the time) was not exactly great. I fear the backlash but I was completely wrong and I felt horrible about it. Now, I have a lovely boy and my parents and my family love him!

Last weekend my dad invited me to go to the pub with him sunday afternoon, he never does this, and he just showed Morgan off the whole time  I was soooo scared of telling him, but theyve been fantastic, and when they see this little one who is their grandchild, they just cant be mad!
