I chose Jayden at the start of my pregnancy if i had a wee boy and now it seems like it is everywhere?

My midwife told me that 17 people in the last week at my hosiptal had named their little boy this...

anyone else having this problem with the name they picked?

no one wants the name we picked for a boy :(

Rab. I didnt like it at 1st but iv got used to it.

If you like the name then i wouldnt worry too much about how many people have the same name. I think Jayden is lovely :)

I have, but only as a Scottish pet form of the name Robert (as in Rab C. Nesbitt and Rabbie Burns).

Arthur seems to be getting a bit more popular but not overwhelmingly so. Imogen is reasonably popular but again, not too much, I don't think.

yup, Rab is the short version of robert. Its in baby books aswell. I didnt think it would be

I loved Jack with both pg #1 and #2 although i doubt i would consider it this time!
What I found really annoying was after I had both my girls and named them on both occasions i had people then name their babies the same. Ok I know you dont have monopoly on a name but this was people who said " Oh thats nice hadn't thought of that/heard of that!"
Oh dear i sound like a right old moaner now! :?
Jayden is lovely - my cousin called her little boy that in May although it caused a few raised eyebrows as she also has a Jordan.

Good luck whatever you decide
xxx

Yes Jayden is common now, i picked that years ago when no one had herd of it, my child is 5 years old now so thats how long ago, but i agree it is everywhere now!

We both liked the name Jayden but changed our minds because it seems to be quite popular.

Go ahead and name your baby this if you really like it.

not many braydons around

I met a Baby Braydon on holiday and thought of you Sarah i love braydon, think it is less common

lol...my names are very uncommon here in the states
for a girl we either like Brookelyn Reighn, Marley Kaya, or Rhiannan Cei-Arra and for a boy we like either Lennon Michael or Damin Michael...all very uncommon im not sure about there but here their very unique:)

Jayden is gorge <3 never heard of it 5 years ago hehe
Nathan was our choice 4 a boy, but that too is a bit over used :(
we thought about Jayden and I <3333 it but loadsa ppl have it so we didnt pick it, but it doesnt matter now anyway lol

Well we called our baby Willow Summer i hated the name at first but it grew on me and so we named her that i must admit i like the thought she will more than likely be the only Willow in her class but knowing my luck there will be another one.

saying that if we had had a boy we was going to call him Harry Ray and Harry is very popular so at the end of the day call you LO whatever name you like.

There's loads more Mason's around now than there was when I named him that :? I hope Brody doesn't go the same way.

This year we've got three Jayden's starting at the school I teach at. I think its such a nice name that's why so many people are choosing it.

Willow is a beautiful name - i'd never heard of any babies called it until I came on here and I think there are 3 now!!

I loved Mason as well but my OH wasn't keen on Mason Mills!
