What do you think of these names??

I am pregnant with my first child and I have had my girl's named picked out since I was in like the 8th grade, if I have a girl her name will be "Promise Kristine" and if I have a boy his name will be "Landon Michael"

Just wondered what yall thought about these two names.

I'd be worried about the names being shortened (as names often are). I am thinking of names that can be shortened to something I also like. For example I like Jessica because it can also be shortened to Jess. I know its not very unusual but just think, Promise might get shortened to Missy or something you're not keen on.

My name is Louise but i've been called Lou all my life and not by choice!

I love Tessa Nicole, Dani! My best friend is Tessa and I love the name! She has always be known as Tess though. She is Tessa in it's own right, not a shortening of Teresa and her full name is Tessa Jane. Often thought about naming my daughter Tessa but hubby won't have it! Good luck with your baby!
