Ovarian drilling

Has anyone any experience of this. I have PCOS and have had 8 failed rounds of Clomid recently. Consultant put me on the surgery waiting list last week. I’m petrified and excited all at once.

Any stories out there or any advice greatfully received.

I had it got pregnant very quickly after.
Periods pretty regular ever since (6 years)

Just keyhole surgery. I had to stay in overnight but that was for a different issue.
Bit fragile after, just a small incision either side.

Well that’s it then! I’ll get ordering some new maternity gear. Hahaha.

Were you ovulating at all before the op?

Not at all, I didn’t have a period for a year but I do now so it’s definitely been a very positive experience for me.
