Not a good day today. Well it started off good then went down hill from there. Took Jessica to playgroup she was fine then all of a sudden she went white, her eyes started rolling and she went limp. I took her to a and e and they said she had a temp of 39 and tonsilitis. I am scared of leaving her because she is so poorly.

MY POSITIVES

i slept in and didnt have to get up if i didnt feel like it i got up when i wanted to 8)

I spent a lovely morning chatting to all the great lasses in tri 3

the spen the afternoon nesting cleaning on a massive sacle and i am now looking at my handy work with pride and excitment

My wonderful man is back only for one day tonight till friday morning but every minute is precious to me

Im going to have a lovely shower and go snuggle up to him now

OK, this is fun!

My positives for today;
- I had a lovely morning with my brother just me and him.

- I bought arts & crafts sets for when I start maternity leave and I'm bored so I thought I could decorate little boxes for Evie's bedroom.

- The biiiig f*ck up at work sorted itself out and I have now learned the error of my ways

- I had a VERY well done steak tonight (just how I LOVE it!)

- I fake tanned tonight as my psoriasis is showing So hopefully, by tomorrow morning I'll look fresh and healthy... And not tangoed.

P.S. I've just remembered my washing is still on the line outside - I'll have to hope it doesn't rain overnight!

It got rained on! Never mind!

Positives from yesterday!:-

* DD was in fits of laughter at me in my raincoat with my hood up, we had such a giggle! I could just imagine her saying 'Mummy, you look really stooooopid!'

* Took DD to baby clinic, she's finally put on some weight and is now just over 17lbs

* Saw my friend who flew past for a visit on her way down to England, and her two children - was lovely to catch up

* Helped a friend of mine by looking after her baby while she unpacked some boxes from her house move. Met her husband who is lovely

* 3 people said 'Hello' to me as I walked home with DD through the park - I love living in a village and getting to know lots of people

* Watched The Apprentice and The Apprentice: You're Fired!

Hello everyone!

Not had a very good day, I'm really tired, and I don't run well on no sleep!

But....

* Mhairi was a good girl (sometimes) and had lots of smiles

* She's started running over to me when she sees me and she is in her walker

* I did what I had to do regarding my thread in Adult....sorry it's cryptic, but I'm trying to keep it !

* I had one of those lightbulb moments about the above mentioned situation, and it felt good!

Hey girls,

I'm tired too Lainey - DD has taken a leaf out of Mhairi's book and is waking earlier and earlier...I've been feeling like I've been running on empty all day with no energy reserves left!

My positives from today:-

* Took DD swimming with another friend of mine who hadn't been with her before. Got some fab photos

* DD fed herself bits of banana (normally too slippy) and managed to feed herself cheese on toast too

* Went to Sing and Sign class and had great fun

* Did 4 loads of washing and hung up

* Put DD's piles of clean clothes away neatly

* Did the dishes before I went out this morning (a real achievement and really only achieved because I was up at 6.15am, but still got done!)

* Worked out some business stuff - cashflow and expenses etc

* Took cats to vets for annual boosters and it wasn't quite as expensive as we were expecting

* Found some willing baby models for my friend who is starting out as a baby/child photographer

* Caught up on a couple of emails

* DD pulled herself nearly up to stand., got up on her knees holding onto a chair

Hi everyone!

Lucy, I hope Jessica has kept making an improvment and is feeling better today!

Valentine, I hope your DD slept a bit better! I've been running on empty for weeks....coping well with the grangemouth strike though!

For today -

* Been strugling to get motivation in the morning, but today I sorta managed it! So got up, ready and we went to pick my mum up from the hairdresser!

* Picked up my mum's and grandma's outfits from the seamstress for the christening....which is a week on Sunday!

* Took Mhairi to her other Gran's today and just sat and spoke to them for a while

* Took Mhairi to the dentist as part of this Child Smile Scheme. The nurse tried to brush her tooth, but she wouldn't open her mouth, so I said "Just give her the brush" which she did, and Mhairi then proceeded to brush her own tooth! I honestly didn't think she would, but she's amazed me again!

* Have received a nice text....just this minute

Well, I'm back! Had a lovely holiday.. I really didnt wanna come home!

Positives-

* Didnt think Fynn would settle for bed tonight as he's had a few late nights on holiday... but he went to bed with no problems at all

* I have a lovely suntan... I always feel nice about myself with a bit of colour in my cheeks!

* Im peeling.... and I love picking the skin off

* I have made an executive decision to start my diet tomorrow

* I havent caught up with this thread yet... so am looking forward to reading about everyones positves while iv been away! (Is that sad?? )

I'M BACK TOO!
Ok, so i didn't physically go anywhere but i've been avoiding posting my positives because i wasn't finding many! But actually looking back it hasn't been a bad few days, so i'm blaming preg hormones! Lol.

Here's some of mine from the last few days:

*OH's interview went well, we're hoping to hear by the end of next week
*The wage for OH's job (if he gets it) will be better than we thought
*so we might be able to afford a holiday next year!
*My car broke down really late last night half a mile from home and i had to waddle to OH to steer while he pushed it to my road - ok so it sounds like a negative BUT it's all fixed now and only cost £46.95 including the garage coming to pick her up!.. which meant...
*i could buy myself a new handbag still (my old one had holes in it!)
*tomorrow i am FULL TERM
*birth pool arrived
*midwife ok'd homebirth!
*TENS machine arrived!

so yeh, all in all i'm good

good to have you back Foxxi, glad you had a good time I love sunburn peeling too!!!!! It's a bit like being a kid with glue on your fingers..lol.

Ooooh BabyBee - I'm so excited that you get your home birth! Congratulations on being full term and going with the home water birth plan - woo hoo!

Foxxi - welcome home, we missed you!

My positives from today:-

* I went to my final PND counselling session - signed off and felt cathartic. I'm a work in progress but so pleased I did the course of counselling

* I told one of my close Mummy friends how I've been feeling and she was very understanding

* Spent a nice afternoon playing with DD and her baby friends at someone's house

* Did my good deed for the day and babysat for a friend tonight, I'm just home

* Did one load of washing and one load of tumbling

* DD learnt to tummy shuffle forwards today - like a body flip surf thing, its cool and now she doesn't have to head backwards towards things, bless her

* Its the bank holiday weekend and we're going to visit both DD's Granny and Grandads!

Hope you all have fantastic bank holiday weekends - I'll be offline for a couple of days as i'm going to visit my parents with OH and DD - so see you all on Monday or Tuesday.

well doen everybody lots of postives to cleabrate

AND YEY TO US SUZIE BOTH FULL TERM!!!

Mine are after a horrible hell of a night last night of no sleep and back pain

my tens machine is now the new love of my life and i will be marrying it
thank god for the tens is has helped to move my monkey of a Son of my back im wearing it now as the moneky thought he'd have another go HA im not having it

ive painted the whole sitting room on my own full term pregnant and im damned proud of myself for me

MY parents and my little Nephew (sister Melanie couldnt make it she is working ) are coming down from Newcastle and i will see them tommorow morning AND I AM SO EXCITED

The we are spending the day together then traveling down to Porstmouth to spend the night at my Sister Tina's and see my Niece (she resently moved there ) so i get to see my parents my sister and my wonderfull love them to pieces Niece and Nephew

all of them ive not seen since Xmas im tearing up here im so bloody happy god i love and miss my family

Hi Girls!

Lucy, you are getting better every day! I've noticed a difference!

Here are mine for today....still a bit difficult, coz I am SERIOUSLY running on empty!

* Spent loads of quality time with Mhairi, so most of these are hers!

* For the first time EVER, Mhairi actually enjoyed being on her tummy!

* So much so that she pulled her knees underneath her and pushed up on her arms as if to crawl!

* So, since she's had the walker for a week, I thought I'd see how she did holding onto my hands standing.....she walked across the kitchen, just holding my hands! Where oh where did I get her? Looks like she takes after her uncle, who was walking at 8 and a half months old. I don't think my nerves could take it!

* I've listened to my music all day and sung to Mhairi (poor child).

* It's steak for tea....yummy!

* I'm going for a shower in a bit to start the exfoliation process for next weeks christening! I used to be soooo high maintenance! Now you could plait my leg hair and we'll just not go anywhere else with this! Shocking!

*Went shopping (will ignore what it did to my feet and back)
*bought a new mascara, eye shadow and some hair dye
*dyed my hair all by myself and it looks ok - was just the same sort of colour as before to hide my roots, lol.
*Blew up birth pool and it's SO cool! (pics in 3rd tri)
*am full-term!!! woooooo
*feel well (was ill in the night)

I feel like i have really turned the corner now on this PND . Today i have actually enjoyed myself for the 1st time in 7 months. I never thought i would ever say that, 2 months ago i couldn't see any point in being alive apart from the kids. My positives for today (quite a few for once):

Woke up and it was sunny outside and for the first time i thought 'oh that is nice'
Did the garden with Oh and Ben whilst Jessica was asleep.
Took Ben for a walk for an ice-cream.
Sat in the garden at mother-in-laws
Went to the gym
Sat outside in the sun and stitched some more sling
HAD A REALLY LOVELY DAY!!!!!!

Hi girls!

Today I went to visit my mum (not the woman that gave borth to me i might add!) ive not seen her for over 4 months so was lovely going over there for the day and catching up with everyone.

Kids were spoilt rotton over there and they had a lovely day and cant wait to go again.

Went grenish and took the train over there which was cheaper and more fun then taking the car.

The kids loved the train!

And i walked from the train station to their house which is about 2 miles away so i got some excercise!

Also she has offered the use of the static homes (v large caravans) when there not there due to lack of room! so yay to holidays!

Am going to hemsby monday to see the family again as they have invited us up for day trip

All in all its been a good day!!!!
