Hey ladies so it's confirmed, IUI is a no go for us and we need IVF, we have decided to go with a private clinic, the quality of the consultation and treatment all just seem and feel so much better

OH had a repeat 24he SA and the results yesterday showed pre wash 6% grade A, post wash 80% but 24hrs after only 2% motile so positive for post wash but they said unlikely natural conception

The doc now has both of us on vit E, vit C, and folic acid and he wants me to go today for AMH as if there is any issue with that he wants to give me DHEA? For 3 months

Works well as he wants 3 months of treatment prior to starting & we get married in just over 9 so with honeymoon etc works out ok

He was also discussing short and long treatment in respect of cycles etc but I wasn't entirely sure what he meant it was a lot to get through

OH is sad he is battling with all his feelings and said this is the one job men get to do and he didn't want me to have to go through injections etc but I'd do anything for us to have a little family, although even though I give injections, not sure how I'm going to do them to myself !! It's all a bit scary really x x

Sorry to read the results were not the ones that you had hoped for. My dr put me on dhea 4 months prior to EC as I've got a low AMH level I produced 12 eggs at EC which was fantastic.

Good luck hon, glad you feel confident at the clinic. Did you go for your amh? It takes a while to come back that one from what I remember xx

Yup just been for AMH they said it should be about a week so the consultant said Monday call them this time next week and he will look them up. X
