OMG Richard Hammond!!!!!!!

Im noticing that doctors are aparently asying they are expecting him to make a 'good' recovery, they are not saying full recovery. God I hope he doesnt end up with brain damage.

It's so sad :( I hope he recovers well. His kids are so young and so gorgeous.
Jeremy Clarkson said this to The Sun

Jeremy, 46, spent the day with Richard and chatted to him for an hour. He told The Sun last night: “I was being nice to him for a change.

“But I wasn’t getting any reaction. He probably thought ‘That sounds like Clarkson but it can’t be — he’s saying nice things’.

“He was lying peacefully with a black eye but didn’t react so I tried something else.

“I said: ‘The reason you’re here is because you’re a c**p driver’. He then smiled at me.

“It was an amazing moment, very moving.”

I hope the fact he regained conciousness and was talking of getting them to film him after the crash for a while is a good sign, his brain was still fine then.

My thoughts are with his wife Mindy and their kiddies, and all their family and friends, they must be so distraught. :(

Is it me or is everyone hooked to the news? lm constantly looking to see if he is better, thank goodness he is improving. Am so worried about him.

I am too!! I almost get worried when they do mention him, just incase its something nasty, there's too much nasty stuff as it is :(

He's just such a great guy, the world would not be the same if we lost him,.... but im trying to think positive for him. He's a fighter and l think he will get through this.

its like the eddie kidd incident all over. lets hope and pray that it isnt the same outcome.

he was an english motorcyclist a bit like evel knieval and he did a motorbike stunt and crashed and he suffered from brain damage and was never the same again. he was such a lovely looking man as well before the accident and after the accident his wife left him and he was on tv and he was talking so slurred, it was a right shame.

hamster took his first steps since the accident today :D

i tell you what he is a lucky bugger! Its not everyday you get off that easy when you crash in excess of 300mph. All because of a good rollcage..thats what makes me happy knowing Alan has a good roll cage in his track car...

Yeah, he is making excellent progress, he is in a normal ward now and up and about. I am so relieved he has pulled through. He is always in my thoughts and I am always checking up on news updates. Wonderful guy,... sigh!!

Me too!

It taken this for me to realise I actually like the guy!
