Ohhhh What to Do

My friend text me to let me know that she is pregnant and when she is due - I soooo want to go "me too" but really want to wait and get my scan done which is not til the end of the month!!!

Thrilled fo her and would love to share my news but want my scan over so that I know if everything is ok!!! This is sooooo hard!!!!

I'm not good at keeping secrets and this is a big one!!!

lol Im the same. I said to OH that i wouldn't tell anyone other than family but i just HAD to tell my best mate because it wouldn't be the same. Tell her but its got to be kept a secret lol x

i just told to be honest as i wud rather if anything bad happened i wud have just suport not just shock that i was preggers and now ant if you get me? nothing worse then someone having a mc and not even knowing they was having a baby x

If you are definately sure you want to wait until your scan then i would try and wait hun, i know its really hard and its going to be even harder with your friend talking about her pregnancy. Goodluck for keeping your massive secret but im sure everyone will be even more suprised that you tell them when you have your scan in your hand x x

i think it depends how close you are to your friend, ive told my 2 closest friends - i told them pretty much straight way as they knew i was ttc and i cant keep anything from them! Plus if your friend is pregnant then im sure she will understand the worry of the initial 12 weeks x

Thanks guys - I'm excited to tell my friend as it means that one of my friends is pregnant at the same time as me, will be on matty leave at the same time etc. My family live 40 miles away so this pregnancy and having the baby is a bit scary so having a friend in the same situation is great. Am going to try and not tell her till I have had my scan which is three weeks today!!! So wish me luck xxx

good luck hun, youll be fine. Im in the sme position - all my close friends and family are back home in nottingham and i now live in cardiff - scary not having the most important people nearby isnt it :-s xx
